Pretty simple. Let us be able to upgrade our Spatial Scanners to the next tier. So you can upgrade your T3 to T4 and T4 to T5. All cost the difference between them in GS, which I believe is about 1000 GS.
Hmm, not bad idea but not really necessary. A spatial scanner is only worthing it if you buy it in T5. T4 is fine too, But T3 is actually stupid because you can not use it in the core sectors. Wait until you get a T5 ship and buy it then.
No necessary, but I would like the option. I have a T4 one atm but I would like to use my T5 ships for crate hunting but don’t see the point in buying another scanner. Rather than not spending any GS, Gaijin would get me to spend another 1000 if I had the option. This would also make the T3 one more viable, especially if a player does not own any T4 ships, as they can be safe knowning that it is not wasted GS as they can upgrade at a later date

Personally, I’d say the scanner should be a universal Tier module. 1 scanner? you can fit it on all of your ships! etc. +1
Any Invasion GS modules should be “universal” from the start, but because of greed, we got this.
Spatial Scanner should be equipped on any ship, but bought with GS only. GS price could be the one from T5, but marked as universal.
Extended Hull as well.
Btw, you can still sell your Spatial Scanner and Extended Hull for a little over than 200k credits…
