Well, you could just message them and ask “Hey, what tier are you guise playin’?”
It is a nice idea, but as Mecronmancer said it is easier to simply ask.

If you can, implement this.
I always wanted this.
I would like this feature as well. sure it may be easy to find out if you ask, but it’d be even easier if we already knew what tier our pilots were using before we push to bring them to a different one, or decide to join them.
this would be so easy to implement devs. Gotta add more little features like this guys.

It is not about easy features, but features that a significant improvement.
This feature saves you a few seconds only.

Yes but it’s easy and wanted.
easy and wanted =/= convenient for devs to put in. Think marginal costs vs benefit.

There isn’t enough resources. People are just spending too little on this game.
We are lucky, that they have enough to pay for the servers.
You do not know, how serious their situation might be with their possibly measly salaries.

You do not know, how serious their situation might be with their measly salaries, so show some respect.
…What? I’d like to see some numbers before I believe such claims.
Also, have you taken basic economics? What I meant was that the marginal cost of having to code such a feature in addition to dedicating time and resources to debug and test and implement is most likely much more than the benefit of saving a few seconds and PMing people ingame or hopping on Teamspeak or messaging via Steam/Skype. Those resources spent to implement such a change could be dedicated towards fixing our current problems that are infuriating many of the players. _That _is a much better use of what you claim are their “meager” resources. Cost-benefit analysis is everything in the business world.
And don’t tell me who to respect. I’ll do that myself, thank you.

You have zero negative idea.

tbh, they could say that themselves.
If they wanted to actually build the game up, they would do something like this:
Hey guys! We are short this much money for such and such project. Donations of 20 dollars will get you such and such special title, a custom taunt, and a developer’s friend signature on the forum with your stats automatically updated daily.
We are also starting an ad campaign for Star Conflict in North America (cuz you guys are our favorite) so be watching on steam and your favorite websites. Invite your friends to star conflict and get 30% of the GS that they buy. Also, a new premium ship can only be unlocked by inviting 10 friends who reach it to rank 9 (cannot be alt accounts)
you can use what i wrote devs. i won’t claim credit!

Not a problem.
I believe that the train is already gone for that, but we shall see.
It has been stated a couple of times now, there are no financial issues. We are still here working on the game and releasing fixes and new content.
So I have to remind you of the following rule:
3.6. It is prohibited to disseminate false information, regardless of the degree of awareness of the author (especially with respect to the publication of information on the development of game projects of Gaijin Entertainment).
About the initial suggestion:
Of course it is a nice and useful idea that might take only 1-2 hours max to add, but don’t you guys want constructive feedback to your suggestions?
We will think about adding it, but the game improvement of this idea is pretty small compared to other content that might be far more usefull.

I wish we had someone like bazinga on this forum He used to quote these rules so often before he left

Agreed! It is just like putting a cherry on a cake! But for that to be of any use, the cake has to taste nice in the first place :001j:

yes
I do like the feedback. I gain perspective that way. And thank you for taking the time.

slacktivator loves cherries because deep down inside, he’s a cherry tree!

before this thread blossoms into a branch of cherry tree talk, I want to make clear that THE ROOT OF THE MATTER is to discuss my initial suggestion on player status; if the idea would bear fruit, and weather or not it should grow to be seeded into the game.
