A1MA

Well as far is I could tell, I was the only one using the 1.8s aimbot up until now. Though for 1600 damage in a small af radius, it isn’t worth it. It should be something like 5000 damage for all ships in a certain radius. And the no walls thing and the having to lock on and the entirety of the new module is crap. I demand a refund. Every single part I put in to both of my A1MAs, or a massive upgrade. You make the call, devs.

Stop it with the self-serving suggestions. This active module is just another way of customizing your ship. If you don’t have the imagination to make this module useful then don’t use it. Stop complaining about something that’s better than the old.

Omg!!! I don’t know if you are just trolling at this point or what. :fed014:

Lel. Ok… To clear things up: I’d choose 1.8 seconds of auto-aim over 1600 EM damage any day. And so would the greater majority pilots. Some pilots got angry that their interceptors could get owned now and decided to complain to the point that devs re-worked the module. Now the module isn’t worth jack-squat because it takes the usual heaps of materials to make, and does less damage then you could do simply ramming the target ship. If you’re not seeing what I’m saying, then make the module useful. Link me up with a “newbs only” tutorial that shows how you can make a single-target-lock 1600EM module useful. I am eager to know.

The point is that an aimbot makes the game suddenly skill-less. If I can park my rear 3000 meters away from you while a teammate keeps you busy, and lock on to you and use my a1ma to kill you with my ion emitters, only needing a grand total of four, maybe five buttons and a mouse, then the game has no point. Not even joking. It was OP as hell, and anything you say to counter that just means you’re dumb. Sorry, but it’s true. If you can theoretically spend about 10% of your time in game with an aimbot on, then your game is bollocks.

Yes, the A1MA still needs tweaks. But for the first time since its release, it may need a buff instead of a nerf. But 5k damage per second for all ships in a radius? What is this, three guard pulsars on top of my shield resist hole? No, make it have a little longer duration, or larger radius, or more damage. Don’t multiply it by 12.5 and call it a day.

And seriously, you really need to think your suggestions through. No, “Someone needs to advocate for it” isn’t an acceptable answer. Someone might need to advocate for acceptance of ebola as a fact of life. They’d be pretty dumb, no? Well.

ok… ill entertain your train of thought on this…

The point of the mod in the first case was so that players could have something to help them deal with hard to hit intercepters going in circles all around them but it had an unintended backlash for various reasons, which at the very least it was an aimbot. The change accomplishes the intent of being able to deal with intercepters. Its very useful if you know what its for.

f_uck no, it was nerfed for a reason

I dunno… I don’t want auto aim back but the module could be better.

Maybe turn it into a turret that has rapid rof but does 100 damage. Every projectile would switch from thermal > EM > kinetic.

Just test the module. As somebody said, it is like an ad hoc plasma web or reduced pulsar. Great for finishing or defending against interceptors.

They cannot upgrade the module more than that, because if they do, it will be better than the plasma web, or even the pulsar.

Take in mind the range is great.

Every projectile would switch from thermal > EM > kinetic.

You forgot to mention > instakill. thermal > EM > kinetic > instakill damage. And then it should also autokill 1 enemy in a 3k range radius. Then chain lightning the people that you have on your ignore list, even if they are in another game. Best would be to give them a jolt IRL.

They might have to buff the A1MA. Contrary to popular belief, the Pulsar does more DoT and the Web has the regen reduction. More damage on the aimbot is fine, tbh…

You bought the A1MA while in the beta, and you agreed with the terms of service that you were aware that the game could and would have changes, and that you were ok with that. So you can’t demand a refund now because a module was changed.

Built them after release, Dummy. XP

And I’m beginning to maybe understand where they’re going with this new mod. (And fyi I couldn’t care less aboot getting aimbot back. I really don’t care. They just replaced a hard-to-get module with crap)

So… If you have an Inty tailing you, you lock them and activate it and it does the equivalent of throwing a rock at them that will never miss, unless they go out of range. This *might* be useful if: they have 2% hull left and no shields, or they are a t1 Inty with no shields, or if the target is AFK and you’re already unloading on them and want to finish them off in the most humiliating way ever. It is starting to come together… But it could still use a buff.

Web has the regen reduction…

Wut, 0.7.xx calling

Usually modules that do dmg over time, each second, get activated immediately upon keypress, i.e. 1st dmg tick is on 0 second (not 1 second) so in A1MA case we have dmg at 0,1,2,3,4 sec time frames, total of 2000 dmg via 5 hits.

When “community” feel better about this module we will introduce MK upgrade gradation and dmg will be scalable with modification.

Seems legit. A small pulsar for everyone, but still not as good as plasma web, since you need to keep the target locked and I suppose that you also need LoS on the target.

So it’s weaker than plasma web and pulsar, has lightly better range than both tho, but does much less damage, and needs LoS.

Yes, because it is a multipurpose module. You can fit it in any ship.

What it will be fun would be a covert ops with plasma web and AIMA both firing at the same time “Look!! HANDS FREE KILL!!!”  :005j:

and Small missiles

But in no means I am against it - that will be AA specialized ship, that will perform poorly vs fighters and frigates
