A valuable source of monocrystal

The monocrystal is the current most valuable resources in star conflict, you need it for almost everything, weapon, modules, ships…; but since a quite long time there is no place to get that resource except dailys.

-the old daily gives us 2 mono’s at each side of conflict

-now it’s only 1 but we have scl

Thing that not every player have access to it and even those who can play it sometime can’t manage to play and creating a team can sometime take long and quickly became borring and ppl are too lazy to play.

that make 4 mono’s per day. you can add 1 or 2 if you get a lucky drop.

what i suggest is to add a REAL way to get more mono’s every day, like a way to farm it.

How can it be farm ?

there is many way it can be introduce:

[-] Open Space, witch i think is the best way so far, here we’ll be able to get it in loot, and the chance of getting it will get higher if alien are invading the sector.

-Blue marker mission in os, yes those mission! there is plenty of them all over the map and almost no one are doing them due to the reward that we have to admit is low. Make us want to do them! easy just add 1 mono reward once completed!

-DEFILER yes the defiler! it’s in os, it’s big, and we can take him down! the loot could drop mono’s and iridium!

[-] Hangar contract, i was thinking of a special contract that will appear randomly every day multiple time (like 5 time a day or more) the objective of this contract could be a huge bounty hunt!

-The target would be a realy thoght guy to beat but only ONE player will be able to get the reward! once the contract is availble every sc player will see it and all he’ll have to do is to get to the location and kill the target (can be a alien, pirate or cyber) if the player get the kill hit (or the one you deal the more dmg) he’ll get rewarded with 10 to 15 mono’s depending of the difficulty of the target.

[-]PVP-PVE yes there too! we could simply get a higher drop rate or just like with mrs summer mission a special icon will appear on a random playe and the guy who take him down will get rewarded with 5 mono’s but only if it’s team won the match!

if someone have any idea about how we could introduce a better, fun or just a good way to get more mono’s feel free to post your idea!

The resource most valued in SC is time. Because you can get all with it, even monos and GS. Well, lately there is been a lower amount of ways to get monos and that’s sad. I only can imagine this is because devs are going to give monos from other sources.

A nice amount of monos in open space loot or turning blue marker mission in OS into gold missions could be a dream come true, but i don’t think devs will do this.

The defiler could be a good way, but remember OS sectors have a max amount of players. I fear you will get more jags waiting for other to kill the defiler and get some reward than fighting the defiler.

It has been said we will get a better/improved OS. As you said, devs could give contracts to kill some special target. This is a good way to mantain control over the amount of monos given. The target can be a player who knows he is the target and he is marked in the OS map. The target gets more monos over time and the players who have to hunt him down a fixed reward.

 

My choice is give 10 monos everytime we log in or 1 mono everytime we win an PVP/PVE/COOP but it won’t happen ![:(](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/003j.png “:(”)

 

 

AFAIK monos can be gathered from OS dailies (4/8), broker scl daily (4/6), first win of the day pvp&pve (2), first win of the day on other modes coop/specop (2), and randomly looting after pvp/pve. So it’s somewhere like 12 without premium and 18+ with premium a day. Hope this helps

Looting after pvp/pve requires full synergy ships.

I consider SCL quest a joke, if you go there you will probably end up feeding kills to pro players and no even completing the mission.

SpecOps works at certain times and requires 10-12 players, i mean, you can’t do it when you can/want (same for SCL)

What i try to say, we need a system that works for everyone no matter their ships ranks, their ability to play, when they can play or even if they like to play alone or not (squad bonus *cough*).

About the open space dailys, it should have remained as it was, 2 or 3 for premium (+50% like the synergy/credit bonus for premium) but… meh xD

We will have to wait for summer and see if the update really comes and how it is (trade system *cough *cough)

Yea fact is I almost never get it in daily loot it may happen 1 or 2 times a week.

Adding other ways to get mono’s will help a lot of players and also can be a good way to make ppl fly in os

-1 mono on day 1

-2 mono’s on day 2

-3 on day 3

You are right, stealing loot from other players who kill the defiler is an inefficient way of getting monos.

I like your proposal of daily mono reward.

Also about missions with monos loot, it could work using the window to build squads. A special mission for pilots to eliminate waves of aliens in OS, only in PVP sectors, so other players can go there without any penalty and then ruin or help your mission. Only those players tasked with the mission they get monocrystals.

And with that the cost of the secret project ships are doubled. Before that you could build a ship from 230-250 mono now it’s 450-470, and then there are the weapons/modules for 50-70 mono.
Currently I don’t build weapons cause I’m saving up for a ship, but I can’t build a ship because I saving for future new thing which might be time limited.
The league is a joke, we got the easy goal, so someone will play it, but it bites back and ppl are making speedrun suicide fests, which is definitely not fun to play also rule 7.1 but who cares.
League should be reworked somehow, I don’t know how it’s tough.

The container for 500 iridium was good, but the drop rate of ship parts is too low, specially with this low iridium income. 3 mono don’t worth 500 iridium.

This would be great. Now the daily login reward is useless nothing specially for highend players, I don’t need more synergy or credit. Rarely I got 1 mono from login but that’s nothing.
Daily reward should be useful for every one. It should contain more resources like neodium, berry, electrum, xenocrystal… etc.

Also a limited mission for ship parts or a bigger amount of mono would be great, like the mission for 30 crystals.

Dailies are so boring to do that I don’t even bother doing them. 

Feels like I’m wasting my time.

Totally support this → for players with license!!

 

Why? License is the absolute minimum in supporting this game, its like a subscription, a long term commitment to the costs side of this F2P game! I calculate ~1.50 € or US$ per week and ~5.50 € or US$ per month, respectively. that is fair, imho.

This basic support by paying for the license should be rewarded more seriously and players should be encouraged more by reasonable rewards per license.

 

Additionally, the contents of specials like the mysterious containers should be more reasonable: lately I found a graphite plate (2500 credits) in a mysterious container on the fringe of a map, that’s a joke - a bad joke!

If we get some monos from sending premium ships to missions would be nice, like we got things by sending destroyers.

To get decent amount od monocrystals per day, you have to play battles (additional to os daylies) – but battles are boring atm, because of super-op tharga.

Indeed those small booster feel so useless, every high end player got around 50million and 400million and sometime more, and they got no ships to lvl up.

I’ve never had a ship part in those 500 iri container, I’ve bought more than 50 and nothing.

Yes a weekly mission like xeno but for mono’s will be awesome!

Currently i’m not even building a mk5 weapon, they are insanely expensive and their stats are barely different, 50mono’s for 20 point more dmg i’m sorry but this is bs.

Same as for ships, the current amount of mono’s is so low that we have to save 3 months before getting it…

Got it from destroyer events, OS daily and a few from SCL/loot spots.

Except 2 dessy no SP ship.

Not everyone are in the same situation… those who got that many are player that have nothing to build, they already have every ship, weapon and modules, players that don’t want to use them except when needed (event), or just cause they spend money

First win of the day? Monos? Tried that out. 4 days 8 first win in elite r15, 0 monocrystals. We’re not playing the same game.
