I have the following suggestion.
Implement only the listed Combat Boosters to all of 4 ship slots.
Whenever you would use them the on any ship slot in PVP - Skirmish, PVE Scenario, or SQ - Sector Conquest mode, it would get depleted.
This means that you will still have the same amount of Boosters for all of your unused slots, since it will only count for the ships you flew and not the battles itself in general.
The other commercial “GS” Boosters can stay below, since they only affect the passive statistics and not the combat ones.
Thank you!
Sincerely, Koromac

Some ships you want shield boosters, some you want hull boosters…etc
Which means all boosters becomes 4x expensive.
As of now I only use 1 type of booster for all of my 4 ships, i purchase 3 of them once and they are good for 3 battles for EVERY ship equipped, now if your system to be implemented, i would have to purchase same booster for each ship separately and then if I get into Capture the beacon mode and use all of my 4 ships I’d spend 4 of my boosters rather than 1

It should be like this and it was from the start. Who cares, if they are expensive. You can fly without them. But if you fly with them, you can then CHOOSE what will you get on each of your ship!
You also forgot the fact that you would still buy the same bundle of 3 Boosters, so in your case you would still have 2 left. Credits are simple and easy to get.
I am running a booster that cost 160 000 credits for 3 battles, so 53 333 credits per battle, with your change that be up to 213332 per battle, on top of that there is ship repair costs, and ammo costs piling up to a hefty price. Now take a look at credit gains in T3/4/5 without premium ships and without a premium license it is already on the edge of profits. Buy doing so you are taking boosters away from general population access.
The price would have to be divided by four. To keep the economy stable.
But I think this would require a lot of micromanagement, which I am not really interested in. What if I have a tackler in one slot, and then for the next battle I change it to a gunship and want to use a different booster? Then I will lose everything I bought before.

Look, they should reduce the price of boosters or something. But just because of this sole reason I can also suggest this.
Old system can stay as it is, but if you wish to change the existing old system - 1 booster for 4 ship slots, you can then change those later, through those new ship slots.
So for those who want to do this can still do it and those who like the current system can still have it.
Your Boosters for general use will stay as they are now. The new system would only change some of them in general - all stats affected to those selected ones, like I already described above.

This is not really a problem. You can also drag your selected Booster to a different ship slot. Basically, it would work in a similar way just like the Crews do.
Imho, it is too much work for something only a very few will be able to purchase.
Most players are not using booster now because they are quite expensive (since the nerf when the game was released to 1.0 version) Doing this will make them even more expensive.
Who cares, if they are expensive.
Not everyone has 4k gameplay hours and one thousand millions sitting in the bank for xxxx sake, think about normal people that play this game for fun and not as a full-time job.
Also learn how to comma pelase xD
As mill said, divide the price by 1/4th and then +over 9000 to this post.
Which means all boosters becomes 4x expensive.

hmmmm i thought u had a bunch of money…

Unlike you, I am capable of viewing the game from different perspectives.

This should definitely be implemented. I use military CPU for all of my slots because it is the best all-around imo. Although it would be nice if I could use the thrusters overdrive for my sai and shield tuning for my guards at the same time.
I think it should work like crews: you have the option of one booster per slot, but you can still use 1 booster for all 4 slots if you want.

I think if something like that to be implemented, it be more convenient to use if it is handled in the same way Ammo/Missiles are:
-
Stock pile them somewhere in a storage
-
Put on a ship you want form that storage place
-
Right click -> remove all modules should take off the Add. Devices as well.
Price definitely must be readjusted for that, the only concern is the price in a sense right now it is a stable money sink no matter how many ships you fly in a battle, if price is reduced to in case where you fly only 1 ship you drooped that portion of money sink (for example) 4x times, which would screw up current finance statistics.

I quite like this idea: add boosters to an individual ship, not to the slot.

The booster is not currently a stable money sink! Not every one uses them. So I think that if the price is divided by four for all boosters, and then they are used up like ammo etc, it would be similar to how we have it now (economy-wise), and would add more flexibility for the pilot.

Well, I can afford it so I should have the option to do so.
I do not know, what I can do with more than 1,15B credits.

Well, about commas, yeah, English has almost none of it. When I was writting, I was writting asthma-friendly version, so there were more commas to be had.
Now it’s fixed. Enjoy your smoothie.

Well, I was thinking either a new slot near the individual ship slot. It’s only a matter of interpretation.
There could also be a slot for all ships, but I think this would be more difficult to implement.
Solution definitely exist, unless if we want this game to become stagnant, because none of the aspects get improved.
Remember, I still haven’t put my official review of Star Conflict. It will definitely affect the score I would put on this game, if this issue would just get ignored.
The best option right now is that we have both systems.
The one we have now and the one I described here in this thread.
Players, which want to be very very precise with everything, need such an advantage.
