It would be AMAZING if we had the option in our individual game settings for the user only to disable the visual effect of EM scattering buffs for the player’s ship.
it is quite difficult to see through this EM scatter effect as the user, so it would be great to be able to turn it off for your own ship.
The better alternative would be disabling it completely for all ships at all times, but I figure that won’t happen any time soon.

Trying to zoom in while EM scattering field is up actually can hurt performance on older PCs. I’d honestly say remove it not only as a buff to LRFs trying to front line but also for the sake of game stability.
Also this would be a buff to Pursuit Algorithm which is nice.
