Even wthout asking for Electrum, they could have put a bundle for a couple of Xenochip with Random Material / Iridium.
Just to let every players being able to participate even if the event isn’t directly for them.

That’s true.
There’s also another possibility. They could just allow players to get those new modules for 10 Xenochip units each instead of searching for them in Open Space.
