With a little luck I’ve perhaps managed to beat XCOM EW Long War mod before this one comes out. Game has lasted till october 2016 and UFO number 240 something was just flying around. Temple ship has already arrived though, so end is in sight.

Had XCOM for a while, but only now found out about Long War mod, so gonna try that.

I’m hoping I can get all the achievements in vanilla EW before it comes out. Good luck on that last boss.

Long War balances the squadsight snipers and makes the game have a lot more depth. I haven’t played it myself, but it’s a heck of a mod.
Long war is the only way to play xcom.
Went through change log and wiki, one wouldn’t be far off by saying it is a completely different game.

Negative. That is what is happening on Normal difficulty setting.
