Working on a Space Engineers version of the Styx

This game is limited in what it can do now, but here’s something I’ve just started.  And yeah, I know I know, it’s not perfect…proportions are somewhat skewed…but I just don’t have the tools in this game, as far as I know.

Anyways, enjoy the photo and the updates to come :)

Gives new meaning to the nickname Space Engies.

A rudimentary Mauler should be easy XD

Hope you wind up finishing the styx, since someone has made a harpy and dagger in space engineers.

The Harpy looks really good in SE .

Hope you can finish your styx!

I suggest you take some mods which add several blocks.

It gives you the possibility to make your Styx look like a real one.

To extend this topic a bit, here are some ships you might know.

They look fantastic.

Templar

Looks really nice in my opinion, made with the help of mods.

Best Star Conflict ship i’ve seen so far in SE, original size, really big and cool inside.

So Engle, i hope this proves that mods can make the ship really, really realistic.

Good work! I think you nailed the proportions of the styx. The hardest work is done and now you can focus on details

Since we’re posting our Space Engineers creations here, i’ll leave my T-Rex Mk.II here:

The size may be a bit exaggerated. It took me about 3 weeks to finish it, but i think it was totally worth it. Also, I didn’t use any mods to build it.

Enjoy!

Working on a (aprox) 1.3km long Brave in StarMade, I would attach screenshots but… can’t take screenshots in StarMade through steam, I’d have to take a picture of my screen…

true perfection is to rebuild it, and even make it survival ready, without using any mods, in scale ![:p](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/004.png “:p”)

or to create engineering drones with gravity generators ![:p](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/004.png “:p”)

while in the choice of game i would truly suggest to take a look at space engineers or avorion maybe, you can just link the game with steam in the Game menu, to add a non-steam game to library. once you start it over steam, the overlay - if you have enabled it - will capture the output, and F12 screenshot should work, aswell as any other steam overlay stuff. If the problem should be, that starmade is a non-steam game. But maybe you meant, it is on steam, but the screenshot function doesnt work, so just sayin’.

It doesn’t look like a styx at all ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”) They’ve taken that from you
