Pilots! Recently, we offered you to take part in a small New Year’s survey. It’s time to look at the results.
The majority of those who filled out the survey were between the ages of 24 and 35 (27%). Another 30% are still too young to die — aged from 18 to 24. 9% of the youngest pilots are under 18 years old. And as many as 23% of respondents are over 35 — the old-timers of the fringe sectors.
Most of the mercenaries are men (83%). There are very few girls in space — only 2%. And 15% of biomorphs are already threatening to take over our systems! The number of biomorphs over the years has increased slightly. It is a pity that the same can’t be said about girls. Their number remains stable at 2%.
The majority of those who filled out the survey are from Western Europe (34%). Other pilots are from North America (29%), Eastern Europe (14%) and Asia (5%). 2% of respondents indicated their place of residence as Oceania. Interestingly, 10% of pilots are in some other regions.
A lot of players (17%) found out about the game from YouTube videos. Slightly more (32%) saw Star Conflict for the first time in advertising on sites. But the majority (53%) found out about the game from Steam. Friends dragged 11% of players into space. 17% indicated some other sources of information. The remaining 3% came from the recommendations in social networks.
It is quite natural that the majority of mercenaries have been travelling across the fringe sectors for more than a year and a half (47%). 26% of players remain with us since the time of the CBT. 8% have been playing for more than six months, and 10% for more than a month. 10% of the players are only just starting their journey.
We are fans of video games. And you are exactly the same! 47% of respondents play games daily. Another 30% — 5-6 days a week. At the same time, almost half of the respondents (44%) played during the New Year holidays. And 35% spent New Year’s Eve in the heat of space battles.
From the survey, it is clear that almost everyone was actively playing during the holidays and as a result, already 37% of the respondents had built the Ellydium Destroyer “Ze’Ta”. Another 20% plan to build it in the near future.
The new PvE system “UMC Missions” was rated perfectly by 73% of the respondents. Another 14% tried it. 7% do not play PvE at all but love PvP only. And 6% said that they play only in “Deadly Challenges”.
42% have played the new Price of Trust PVE mission several times and they really liked it. 39% completed the new mission once. And 13% are still going to try it.
We have carefully read all the messages sent to us and want to share some particularly sincere ones. Spelling and punctuation are on the conscience of the authors.
