That right there, explains everything! Comcast is a terrible company.

They are one of the companies trying to get rid of net neutrality, not to mention their internet service is bad.

I beg to differ. At home, I have comcast internet, and it works perfectly fine. I rarely get packet loss, and the internet is reliable.

In case you haven’t noticed, you live in CA, which is pretty much on the opposite side of the world from RU. Most other games you play you are on a US server, as they are games most likely produced in the US.

And meanwhile I live in Mordor with my fake (because it’s way less than that) 10 MB Internet connection.

true but i used to get good ping all the time in beta and i haven’t moved at all.

back in the early days of this game, the player base in the US was much bigger. So you would get US servers more frequently. Ping on servers only changes with location or server quality, neither of which have changed.

so why has it shrunk then?

because the U.S. community was unhappy with the game…thus proves my point that U.S players are often unhappy with the game.

Because US players are big crybabies, back then game was going through fundamental changes, and people could not handle that soem of their stuff got changed or reworked

I miss the good’ol days of 0.7, that was the fun times.

Exactly. The main cause of the US player drop (really the player drop in general) was because of the introduction of roles. This update made a lot of the previous gameplay impossible, which many players did not like, so they quit.

Frigball Era.

Everything you call a frigball now is nothing compared to what it was during 0.7.x

coil mortars/eclipse on a frigball is hillarious

“oh no! run! no, not all in the same direction! noooo!”

Nothing like the good ol’ days of all frigates having warpgates, nukes, and heavy rails(?) (whatever they were called back then)

Frigball… more specifcally Guardball…  :01414:

Thank goodness for now most of them have not read up on Rakza’s  or other esteemed Guru’s Guard Builds… :006j:

Seems in our newest\latest version of Frigballing … the knowledge and the use of Engineer has diminshed to an all time low ?

I don’t think it has ever been high

Eng with adaptive using the energy active module is nuts good in a small battle.

I mean NUTS good.

You can dedicate your capacitor slot(s) to doing more damage. Takes some getting use to turning hull regen off and on. For when you deploy your fourth active. Need the energy to keep actives up for a few seconds only…

In big battles you’ll just get the old Eng. focus kill and unless you are squaded up no one helps…
