I started playing this game when, it only had PvP mode. You only could do matched pvp and pve. No fancy Invasion. I still only play this game that way and ignore Invasion almost completely(it is slow, boring, also i play too casually). Because of this I don’t gain Monocrystals and will never obtain one of those new ships. Hence I am shooting the “Why”-question.
Pay money if you don’t want to grind.
Or turn invasion into PVP through piracy, like I do

I agree, it would be nice to have a 1 or 2 crystal loot as a rare drop (rarer than mk4 kit drop) so pilots that don’t play invasion much can still get some cystals (if they want to do it faster they have an option to grind invasion)

Well I got one from a purple spot in Spec Ops the other day, so it is possible to get them elsewhere than in Invasion. Isn’t it also theoretically possible to get them from fifth day log-in now? I can’t remember

Spec ops Purple loot stop there is a chance to get 1 or 2, 5th day login there is a chance and from the employer missions there is a chance but those missions do not come up very often and if you do not have spare geared up t4/t5 ships it is uncommon that you will get it as a reward

since it’s start, daily bonus gave me exactly one alien monocrystal. daily login almost isnt worth it. especially, i whish’d sometimes it would not be doomsdays, but at least drones…

You get enough drones from the side-contracts, no need more. But fix 5 monocrystals for fifth day bonus would be nice. I don’t really like this new random reward system anyway.
