Why did Custom PVP rewards get taken away?

I mean, seriously! Custom PVP shall forever more be the realm of corp practice and pilots just joking around.

 

IT HAS NO MORE POINT THAN THAT.

Custom battle

We found out that some players have been using Custom battle to hold unfair battle with the purpose of getting higher ratings. We have reacted to this with a number of measures:

Pilots no longer receive the following rewards for PvP Custom battles:

Credits

Synergy

Medals

Rating adjustments

Endorsements

Trophies

PvE custom battles remain unchanged

I believe that it was being abused in some way. I am not entirely sure about that however.
