Who can tell me where I can find the neodium plate or impure neodium

I hardly can’t find them in attacked sector. And I’m very look forward to manufacturing a destroyer.

I’ve found a couple in Terramorphing Station but hardly enough ![:(](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/003j.png “:(”)

Also, the 10 PVE/PVP win Daily for the Destroyer is a good source but that requires at least 10 missions that you might not even win.

You can spend 10,000,000 credits for a chance at 1 in the Special bundle thing too. Yay!

The best way i have found so far is to get a spatial scanner (and a hull extender) and farm mysterious containers and asteroids. Also you can attack transports heavy escorted.

Read this [guide](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/29834-how-to-open-space/)from ORCA1911 It’s all very well explained.

Does the scanner reveal mineral nodes too that would have rarer drops?

It reveal all the loot you have near you. It doesn’t tell you if normal loot is rare or not. But it is used to uncover invisible “mysterious containers”. This mysterious containers have sometimes rare loot included neodium plate. It needs a lot of grind, but it is a reliable source for neodium, berilium, blueprints, loyalty vouchers and credits.

There are 3 spatial scanner. It’s important to get the one for T4 or T5. You need at least a rank9 ship for a T4 module. You can use a Hyenna ship (federation tackler). And a hull extender is really useful too, to increase the cargo bay.

You can find some youtube videos of how it works, but until you use it for yourself it’s hard to understand how good it is.

I’m sure this info is out there but the Spatial Scanner can be equipped on any applicable ship like normal modules right? (One ship at a time, of course).

I have a Fed R9 Fighter…the one with Overdrive.

In OS you better use a tackler or a recon. It’s the safest way to farm.

The spatial scanner is for a CPU slot, the hull extender is for a hull slot. As long as the ship have one of this, you can use it.

If I don’t have enough money to buy the special scanner, what should I do?

You can buy GS, you can buy a DLC (it gives GS), you can play and win some battles in tournaments, you can get into a corp controlling gold sectors to get GS, you can win a contest in the forum and get GS, you can buy some containers (those with neodium) but you probably are going to spend more GS in containers than a spatial scanner, you can play with rank8 ships with max synergy, you can farm rank10+ sectors but you will get burned with the grind.

My advice is enjoy the game you can achieve. There are other good ships you can buy with credits. And in the mean time you will get enough resources to get a Destroyer.

Every sector of r7+ can yield in its minerals neodium.
Transporter can have neodium too in the mineral they drop.
There is a specific cargo loot or whatever it’s named, that can contain neo plates.
While it’s more or less rare to get neo, it’s at least not so time consuming/depending on a team as playing PvE/P to loot it.
