After dying in sector space, white noise(last sound?) persists for the rest of the game until shutdown.

is it related to [this](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/23688-sound-efx-error/#entry274998)? or did you mean sector conquest?

 

if it is the invasion pirate sound effect, it would not be a linux only bug.

I’m guessing that’s the pirate noise bug from invasion. Either have to kill the pirate that locked on to you or restart the game. That’s the only workaround I found until they fix it.

You can turn off the NPC voices altogether.
