Where did my doomsday missiles go?

I had been collecting them since I started playing.
I could finally use them and enjoyed them immensely.

Now they are gone.
No I did not use them all. At last count I had upwards of 40-50 of them.
I can manufacture more. That’s not gunna happen because I need the chips for ship building.
I am not a happy player.
