It’s harder to hit then a recon, it’s harder to kill then a destroyer. Its “inhibitor swarm” module can disable the fastest interceptor and completely freeze a frigate, “missile reload” is basically a hack. Its “Resonating shield” modification is basically a version of pulsar and its “teleportation sphere” is like an upgraded version of reverse thruster and the Destroyer’s wormhole projector since u dont need to wait for the wormhole to move, speaking of destroyers, I watched my team’s destroyer got teared into shreds by an enemy thar’ga in a matter of seconds. Overall, Thar’Ga is Interceptor+tackler+gunship+frigate
Thar’ga needs to be nerfed, please or people will stop playing very soon because thar’ga will outnumber normal ships
Destroyers are easy to kill by anyone now because of a silly change by the devs. Otherwise, it’s just about learning how thargas fight. They are a completely different class of ship (despite being called a gunship) that works very differently. And just like any class, it can be killed if you take the time to focus on it. I agree that some aspects of it are very overpowered, but the stated reasons aren’t them. XD

In T5 I am already seeing thar’ga outnumbering normal ships.
Good thing that’s the only elly ship you’ll be seeing for a while. XD Everyone spends their resources on it and then others come out so they find themselves out of money.
I play mostly Co-op (that is PvAi) now after the patch. In Co-op the bot interceptors are harder to kill then frigates, fighters and sometimes destroyers, now. They are darlings of high potential: not limited by 2 canons, to the opposite powerful as fighters and can kill everything in seconds.

Swifter think about the overall situation holiostically.E.g., the special ops mission (45xenos) is finishable in reasonable time only with an experienced wing. Not everyone has high-skilled buddies to get the job done quick and in time like you.
15 spec ops accross 4 days(t3 destroyer ‘Andromeda’ as easiest way) is easy doable.
That’s ~4 spec ops each of the given days, meaning 2 spec ops every hour(easy). A bit of a time investment, but not really difficult. You don’t need a pro wing, just 2 average player and you can do it within the time limit.
Yeah. The Andromeda Specops is generally the only one I do for the 30 xenos because ain’t nobody getting me to fly R15 in PvP these days. Especially in a squad. That’s a recipe for an endless loss streak.
So basically it’s 30 xenos per week, with maybe 4-12 xenos per day if you are super lucky and have lots of time. The “Teamwork” missions are only truly doable if you are either a complete newbie with only <R9 ships, or a wallet-warrior killsquad like Malf+Eugenics in R15.

I’m a solo player. I do the t3 destroyer mission, it’s easy as hell even with randoms.
The maximum theoretical value is (4*6 + 11*2)*7 + 45 * 2 = 412 xeno per week.

4 times the 6 xeno mission (refresh every 6 hours and once at midnight)
11 times the 2 xeno squad mission (refresh every 2 hours)

Those who say that it takes years to get a thar ga full build at r15 are lying.
The discussion went a little bit off-topic. I agree that Thar’ga is OP and needs to be nerfed … no matter if everybody can get it for free.
Basically this ship is ruining game play for others and this game is not _ ‘Thar’ga Conflict’ _ but Star Conflict.
I hope that the devs sooner or later will establish the balance again because otherwise I see the player base dwindle.
Playing a Thar’ga is fun but I don’t want see all the time matches where other ships are just reduced to cannon fodder.
With teamplay you can kill a Thar’ga. But if you need 2-3 ships to get down one Thar’ga then in some game modes simply the team with more Thar’gas will win.

I fear it is too soon to nerf Thar’ga. They will wait until the nerf benefits the release of the new Ellydium ship. That’s obvious.
It is a pain when half of your team is killing a Thar’ga and forget about objectives. Luckely not all the pilots with Thar’ga are like Swifter and sometimes they die. But when there is 4 Thar’ga in the enemy team it’s simply imposible to get rid of them. There is 2 o 3 alive allways.
