Some people may have noticed that something goes wrong with the pyro, it deal less dmg, some object are not affected by it anymore, he’s aspect look different and now I notice that it deal dmg (no more than 4k) only on first hit and no longer deal dmg on duration. Like if a random ship goes in the beam after it as fired it receive no dmg.
Is it a bug? Or a voluntary choice? cause now it become completely useless.

It is a bug. Anomaly generators aren’t affected on a Destroyer in Spec Ops as well, if you fire on them with Pyro Emitter.
Other objects may not be affected as well, especially in PvE.
It seems that after a few ticks, the real damage that should be done is ignored, even when in contact with the object or a target. It’s not the only bug. There are many more.
For example, There is no statistical info shown about the distance for the Pyro Emitter.
