What does spread actually do?

they do decrease firing time though which is why i tend to use them on heavy blaster where I can put compensating ammo in

With the recent bonus to their overheat time, it is not that bad anymore, but for hitting targets that can take a beating, yeah it will suck having to watch your overheat meter.

Uhm @Dirk Decent would u teach me how to use rails cuz i have real prob with them due to spread and cant hit fast ships at all so otherwise i have to change to lasers while i really love Assault rail?

Please keep in mind that there’s a ROF hard cap of 300, i.e. carefully check your ROF when adding Iridium Heatsinks to HB, which is already close to that 300 limit.

i only put 1 on for that reason

shared cooler is verrry nice   Especially on ships with 2 or 3 engine slots.

I understand the concept of spread but what does it do at the game? And what does electronic guidance do? I suppose ud put it on long range weapons with high spread? And can spread be actually usefull to hit easier or is it always bad?

Go back to t1   :005j:

Cooler in your engine slot, the invasion spread reduction ammo. Crit bonus R2 implant, bonus to crit damage R6(i think) implant.

You ship is now a crit killin machine.
