there were a lot of space games before 2003. elite, wing commander, descent, …
not wanting to undermine, that freelancer was also a pretty neat game, tho
Dunno if I ever answered this thread, but here goes…
EvE- good ol’ days when I just roamed null in over-expensive ships mass-murdering everything.
WoW- why not, ERRYONE plus their moms were playing it back then. Literally, a friend of ours’ mom was our healer in 5v5’s.
Aion- cause WoW was getting boring for us at lvl70, so we joined the beta, but found the game to be extremely grindy. Still less grind than SC.
EvE- SPESS SHEEPS!!! AGAIN! This time, I just grinded multis and sold them all after a few months. Inexpensive, plus I ended up with a hefty profit after this.
WoW- Because Cataclysm. Then the Arms Warrior nerf hit (my fav class in any RPG) and I kinda stopped playing it…
EvE- Triple active account. A main, a JF and a Command support alt. Magnificent lulz were had.
Aion- Because I got bored of everything else, I decided to give the game another chance. The grind lessened, but still, the combat was godawful… You’d understand my point of view if you were killing a mob, and gave it the final blow SIMULTANEOUSLY as you died. It was ridiculous. It still is.
