Hello, pilots. I saw a poll in the game recently. There is one line which i cannot understand. What are ‘volumetric decorations’?
Could you provide any examples, please?
P.S. Nobody has answered in the Facebook group and volumetric decorations question, so I came here. The reason I am asking is because I saw a poll in the game (look at the images below, please).

I’m thinking that means the actual design like the paint job I mean. Not the colors but the actual design. Being able to change the pattern of it. This is merely just a guess but it seems likely. Also what you were thinking it was would be nice to have on all ships (the animations).
No. It’s the 3d model change.

Do you mean how the ship’s shape changes when you add some new modules or devices to your ship? Actually, that is something I would choose instead of some not very important skulls and roses  painted on a ship .
Actually, if there was somebody wise from the Devs, that would help most.

Volumetric in any sense means that it takes up volume, and since stickers and paints and patterns are all flat, it can only mean a change in the actual ship model, which I would like.

But that’s not the only possibility.
There’s a paint available only to ellydium ships named “Aggressor” available in the winter DLC.
A black paint, which not only change the color of your ship ; but also change the ship model itself (add some lights, hide the cabin glass, and some stuff on the edge).

Well, it does.
But lights are extremely small blue dots on the top and a blue circle on each sides of your ship.
It looks quite cool to be honest.
It’s a metallic futuristic theme.

Lights = visibility
Visibility = easier to blind target
Eastier to blind target = u ded foo
Guys, I did know what it meant: volume is the 3 dimensional equivalent of a plane and metry means ‘measurement’ or ‘related to size, measure’. From there stems the word meter (m, the base unit) Hence its obvious, but I admit I had to think and make sense of it initially. So I got the idea behind the question really quick…
Actually, I find it very appealing: imagine to have different designs of your (very very grindy and expensive) Ellydium ship would make sense to have that personal note or expression of player type you are. For sure it will cost us…
In different pictures of the new Tar’ga I saw certain slight changes in 3D shape and form. I though, that putting on modules would change the Tharga ship each time. I have my Tharga build but I wait for the interceptor and the frigate to be released.
And as they see the results of the poll, they realised that they would not be getting away with simply making a couple more new aerography 
Seemed like the obvious choice; instead of the poll they may as well just said here have 20 gs…

They are having it already: Thar’ga and follow up Ellydium ships will come each in a set of variable “volumetric” designs - changeable in “volumetrics” by modules, progress, or skins.
In the end , the ship roundel (instead of the old ship tree) for progressing one’s ship the way one likes it will be the way to got for the game in future. If the old ships or some premium ships will follow suit -who knows?
They are probably just surveying if it would be profitable to waste resources on creating 3D decorations, like in War Thunder where you can put helmets, skulls and fuel cans on your tank. Can’t imagine what those could be in Star Conflict though. and if they were objects you can place anywhere or on some designated spots. Or perhaps small change to the model.
However cool any of those would be though, I think the devs should focus on more important matters at the moment.

The Volumetric decoration on Thar ga is a pimped version of the basic Thar ga.
Not some object that you add on the top of it.
So we might get the possibility to add wings, reshape the reactors of standard ships.

I want to put a Reaper skull on the front of my Octopus! Oh and I would also like to pimp out my Mauler with some cool stuff. Maybe a spoiler on the back and some blue neon lights underneath or something.
I would want a dock or ship yard with a forge in it: I would put in all my old interceptors and get a customizable interceptor out with a ship leveling/research roundel like the Tharga has!
This would bring space for my magazin (store) (1372 of 1500 atm).
