We need Exclusive loot

i don’t see the problem really… bringing the loot home safe is part of the game…

instead it should just drop a bit more frequently.

or add a module to create those bring-home-bots.

i also hate parasites, but without them, the whole mode is just dull.

solution might be : Players with active Station protection can’t steal loot. Whoever did more than 50% Damage gets exclusive loot rights in safe sectors.

If a Player wants to steal loot in protected sectors, He’ll have to fly without Station protection.

Then the idea from Omega could take place. If he steals, the thief is marked free for all and his resistances are so drastically lowered for an extent amount of time, so that everything becomes a real threat for him.

In Red PVP Sectors, no loot protection, everything allowed.

While I think sandbox is the way to go here, I rarely go out just to kill “rats”. I almost never get to loot them, so… bye bye sandbox part of the game.

I’ ve got no problem with pvp in invasion, but the thing I have a problem with is that you lose all your loot if you blow up.

Please let us keep the loot if you die (at least the credits you farm) or let the loot be damaged so there value is alot less than normal.

This way everytime you get killed you still have some resources, so you will not die in vain.

You can have a hard time farming monocrystals or rare loot and then you get xxxx-raped by a pvp killer leaving you with nothing.

By the way this suggestion does not count for people who self-destruct, then it’s your own fault of losing everything.

Farming people will be less rewarding and a lot less grief in this way, making invasion mode more fun to play.

And in this way more people tend to go out to the danger zones, so pvp farmers can still get enough loot from other players, it only takes more time to do so (they need more kills)

Happy gaming

Interesting idea, thank you. The loot stealing shouldn’t be prohibited but it has to be punished. The player who stole the loot should get a status of offender. We’ll review the suggestion.

But imagine you enter a sector, see an abandoned container, pick it up anf then get agressor status? Without knowing who you “stole” the loot from?

Or else this exclusiveness should be only for a certain period of time for example 20 seconds.

I have my doubts about the usefulness of this proposition. The loot you get from containers is rarely worth stealing anyway

Grief = destroy fun, and often leads to most people quitting potentially good game, and when too many quit the game dies, many games have died out due to too much griefing.

Since Ultima Online this is a major issue for games where the “only” game mode is prone to griefing. However, with SC, the open world/invasion is just an add-on to the PvP “arena-style” game core. I’d guess few of the PvP gamers would be deterred by the multiple griefing/annoyance issues found in Open World/Invasion (e.g. “Mysterious Container” spawn camping corp killing “Just want to do the dailies” guys for fun/out of boredom).
