WARNING| frame 407 gameGlobals.frameTimeReal is too large (0.125411)

Hi,

I have recently installed the game after watching TB’s first impressions, I am not getting any further than the title menu. My game seems to flash rapidly like some sort of graphical / resolution issue. After numerous hours of searching I seem to be having a recurring error in my log file ( title )

Heres the log in full :

I have an Nvidia GTX 295 with the drivers up to date. I have re installed twice and still get the issue. I’ve contacted support through Gaijin and recieved nothing aswell as posting in the Steam forums too. I’ve also tried both instances of the game, the installer from the website and the steam version. Still no luck.

If anyone can help me, i’ll buy you a beer because i’m reaching breaking point!

Regards

have you tried re-installing DirectX :confused:

worth a shot

*is also the same error i get when trying to run it with a high resolution.

Try editing the config file and putting it to windowed mode.

This is the config i use dunno if its any help to you but …

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<UserConfig>
  <CVars version="4">
    <cl_language val="ENGLISH" />
    <cl_maxActiveFps val="0" />
    <cl_skipSlideshow val="1" />
    <g_drawTargetWindow val="1" />
    <pe_dof val="0" />
    <r_3dheight val="1080" />
    <r_3dwidth val="1920" />
    <r_anisoLevel val="16" />
    <r_forceAniso val="1" />
    <r_fullscreen val="2" />
    <r_height val="1080" />
    <r_msaa val="1" />

    <ship_selectedControlMode val="1" />
    <ui_widgetsResolutionScale val=".1" />
  </CVars>
</UserConfig>

My mate has a 295 and it runs fine so its probably not the dual GPU’s

Ill ask him later what driver version he is using.

*its runnign windowed stretched

I didn’t think it was possible to re-install DirectX, its updated anyway. I don’t seem to have a problem with anything else. It seems to be an issue with my PC, tried your userconfig and still nothing!

Oh well, I may have to wait to get a better system or something!

Thank you for your reply.

Just for reference my system specs:

Windows Vista 32bit (Ultimate build)

NVIDIA GTX 295

Intel Dual core2 @ 2.4 GhZ

2814mb RAM

Directx 10

The error in my log file seems to be a warning. I doubt thats related. I dont understand as I have many new release games that work fine

Thanks for your reply bro

Only thing i can think of is Vista :confused:

Warnings are not real “bug”.

If there is something critical it would display ERROR.
