This has been reported before if i remember correctly.
This is a well known glitch. When they reworked the hangar interiors they left the same path in the robot, so he is now flying instead of walking.
In fact I remember one of the INN issues had an inside joke about that, something like the droid manufacturer saying that its droids were so good they can even fly if they want.

Imperial robots are the best robots ever. If they are ordered to load the cargo - they do, and if they are ordered to fly… They also do, even if they don’t have gravity generators or jet engines.
