And yes, would be good, they are almost useless when healing a dessie.

Brokk is already good enough for healing dessies, but standard engineer abilities are kinda meh

No way… destroyers are already bulky a.f. you seriously want to make them like close to unkillable when they are with a halfway competent engineer…

OFC I agree that a brokk even in the wrong hands can heal the bejesus out of you so maybe all other engineers. Brokk is a whole 'nother beast man. That thing not only can heal the xxxx$3ing sh4t out of you but also is tanky.

U know the ellydium engineer is about to come out, so I guess we’ll have to do mission in a engi frigate to get resources for it, which means that everyone will be flying one… so talking about quick heal ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)

I mean sure maybe destroyers might get a bit unkillable if theres a competent engi, but understand that engineers right now feel really non rewarding, you dont feel like you’re saving a life and more like just giving meaningless health regen that isnt enough to let a teammate run away unless you focus all your abilities+eclipse launcher on him.

thats why in overwatch, killing the healer is a huge priority, so why do you complain about being unable to kill a healed destroyer when you should be working on killing their engi, thats the playstyle i want to see on star conflict, smart “picks” to defeat a team, but for now engineers are more aimed to heal poorly multiple targets and focused, effective healing seems to be locked behind a paywall with the brokk…

That is a game breaking idea, so go ahead suggest it, they’ll probably do it.

 

OP do you know how healing works, correlating with energy?

And you know that there is Active & passive heals?

killing the healer is also a huge priority in this game, unfortunatly there are 0 organised squads playing where you would learn this really quickly.

Overwatch is a very bad example tbh, their meta is designed on purpose. Meta in StarConflict is just accidents.

 

The brokk until soon, is an OP pay to win exeption.  Normal healers are absolutly fine, it’s just the brokk that falls out of proportion big time, if it finds a vigilante to attatch to.

A brokk with a Vigilant would be a nice setup. I got a vigilant and I know how to use it so if you gotta Brokk, hit me up and lets break this game.

The engineer just sucks at keeping someone under consistent heals, the active healing gets easely out-dps’d by any competent enemy, sure maybe the total healing effectiveness is good but individual healing just completely sucks even at purple

Point is, healing just doesnt feel rewarding, you never feel like you can save someone’s life, and if you do its OP? Brokk might be op in the sense that the ship itself is hard to kill ontop of the efficient healing, but if it was a weak ship that could heal effectively and feel rewarding, then yeah. It should be applied on all engies

Fact is that if all engies was that powerful, there will be no point having a brokk, and again with the elly engie coming the brokk will be take apart.

Honestly, Octupus was a slight disappointment for me. It should be better than that. Dont get me wrong its still a great ship but not really what i thought when buidling a SP Ship.

actually, spiral already has this, its “invulnerability projector” has a significant modifier when healing destroyers with it, try it out.

 

note: this modifier is not mentioned anywhere

If anything there should be a healing beam for all engineers, or the healing fields should be visible to allies
