But if you’re showing off a T5 tackler, T5 opponents would be nice. I imagine you could have taken a T5 anything and wiped the floor just as fast.
i still enjoyed the video. and i don’t mind, anyone who exclusively plays T5 atm. will get rusty and will be surprised once the regular 8v8 or 12v12 comes up to higher tiers, which i believe one day will occur. zap ain’t one of them, he flies T3 often enough. you can already feel it, ESB squads ain’t that much of a threat anymore in a T3 match
I’ve noticed that in the few matches where the queues have lined up right. Ever since ESB put that 1600 requirement in, I’ve noticed that they aren’t so fearsome anymore. When that started, I think there were only a dozen or so players that high in the whole game. There’s too much focus on DSR rather than wiping away the enemy in a bloody genocide like I remember.
Err, right. I don’t have the Parallax, so I wasn’t sure which one it was. Yes, bubbles would actually be mildly better on them, then.
As for the crit builds, it’s not impressive. You get, MAYBE, 30-40%, unlike the natural 70% on CovOps and Gunships (when on Overdrive)
Sai almost automatically gets a crit build, I’m at 69% chance and 120% boost with icebolt. I gives me an “effective” dps of 1471. That’s better than a shrapnel with no crits. Have you considered Empire R2 implant? Which faction to pick probably just depends on your weapon choice but it can help. With two cpu slots, you can get 53% crit chance for singularity. For assault rails you can hit 73%. Guass doesn’t count because crits are different for it.

I actually run my Sai differently cause I can’t target Shrapnel for crap. And I do run with that implant.
All Chargeable weapons’ crit builds are shoddy, at best, but it can be abused all too easily.

Just regular Custom Matches for the recording. Recording audio, decently, is far easier than you might think. I’ve actually been working on that, lately.
I’d rather do these tutorials with the ships of the faction they belong to, though.
I’ll start planning this out when I get home, though.
