Upgrade ships to higher tier

I’m just suggesting this because I really like the federation Raptor frigate but it is too low tier to do anything in now I’m not suggesting to give it module slots but just to give all ships within classes similar stats so all frigates have similar stats with the higher ones just having more modules

 

all fighters have similar stats except with higher ones having more modules

 

and the same for interceptor

 

the way it is now later on in development one player in a high level interceptor will be able to kill a lower level cruiser easy (if they are added) and what happens when there is a tier 18 and the interceptors have 30,000 HP and can kill dreadnoughts in one shot?

 

all of the ships need to be balanced according to class NOT to Tier

 

and if you do balance them according to class new players and veterans will be able to play together and it will encourage teamwork to take down a bigger target rather one player being able to take out a whole squad without even losing shields

but but… diff tiers dont fight vs each other… Why would you want to change that and make all ships the same? Taking down progression will destroy this game.

 

There is teamwork(combined from 3 kinds of pilots)

-Killers

-Objective hunters

-N00bs - pilots that are worse than bots, sometimes they won’t hit anything entire game

Only if you go to PvP sector… If you think you are too weak don’t go there.

 

OW is only one of 3 parts of game… You don’t have to go there, you can go to PvP or Pve.

Trade System is good. It takes time to grind out free synergy, credits, and supposedly craft items. If you grind for free synergy in pvp you could trade that to another person for an Mk5 item that they grinded for in OW. This way people won’t be forced to play a gamemode they dislike.

Of course you have to go there. Not strictly enforced, but we already have the pressure to do so. Similar to PvE and its guartanteed loot, but worse, you can get stuff you actually wont get in PvP.

I hope the trade system will be fair enough to make sure everyone has a chance of acquiring these rare items somehow.

And you’ll also discourage people from buying higher tier premium ships.

Trade = bots = won’t happen. Devs had said it time and time again. Besides their entire monetization concept is based on making the grind so disagreeable that you’ll feel the need to skip it via real money. Trading would defeat that idea.

I would have suggested using free synergy as a currency… but then again, it doesn’t exactly fit with the monetization concept either.

True… if we have limited supply and high demand, prices will skyrocket and players will be ‘encouraged’ to spend money for more synergy. I’d be concerned about the surge in the number of synergy farmers though. T3 will be full of them, since it’s easy to get matches, and T3 prem ships are common.

Well, if one currency can be exchanged to another, it will never increase the grind, only lessen it. So it’s not in the interest of the devs.
