The node tree was somewhat reworked and the side effects are usually a blank ship but this is the first case of “upgrade”. File a bug if you want to downrank or something.

This problem makes the ship less variable and adaptable than it could be.
The mechanic should be that the crafted rank of the Ellydium ship by pushing the <Apply> button, the max rank for Ellydium should follow accordingly.
@Orca: You may put this suggestion of dynamically <applied> Ellydium max-rank up for review? This would give players more control over which mission/assignment to go for and probably encourage more players to level up their rank-limited Ellydium ships --for strategic reasons in regard to assignments etc-- for they could downrank it at any time!
