Unable to purchase Garm frigate in Jericho ship screen

I am unable to purchase Garm rank 10 frigate in Jericho ship screen even though there is enough synergy and credits. The frigates payment button doesn’t become highlighted, see attached screen shots. I don’t think my system specs are required but they are as follows:-

 

Acer Aspire Laptop model V3-471G

Intel Core i5-3210M

NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M 2GB vram

8GB DDR3 memory

WIN 7

 

I have attached game logs but again I think they are not required.

I am curious how you could miss that.
You need to own another ship from the lower ranks before you can buy it.

Thanks for pointing that out but as it’s on the left hand side I thought it was for the blackswarm craft but on checking federation it didn’t stop me purchasing craft, see attached screen shot. Also, thanks to poster for pointing out it was empire not jericho …

So I’m still looking for an answer.

The requirement applies to the entire rank line (I.e. All of rank 10 Empire).

 

You can simply buy the lowest rank Empire ship to pass that limitation for Empire. Eg if you haven’t started on the Interceptors, buy the first one available and it will count as “one more ship”.

 

You were able to buy the Federation ships because you probably have more of them bought already in lower ranks.

You have these ships because you have bought them BEFORE they introduced that minimum amount of ships before purchase thinghy. They just didn’t remove you ships because it would be more stupid then the whole system is already.
