Ubuntu 12.04 Crash on Launch

Hey, I installed the game earlier today and when I click play, a tiny window appears in the top left corner of the screen for a second before disappearing. If I try to run the game via the terminal, it reports a segmentation fault.

 

I’m running Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit with the 3.5.0-49 kernel. I’m running gnome-classic as my graphical interface.

 

I have 8GB of RAM and a dual core Intel® Pentium® CPU B980 @ 2.40GHz processor

 

I tried locating logs or similar information from the game but there was nothing. I assume that’s because the game isn’t running to the point to create them.

I am also working on a problem with my launch, but I am running lubuntu go to  ~/.local/share/starconflict/logs/ and open the game.log copy and paste what is there in your response. I wanna see if it is the same problem as mine or different.
