Tyrant Build ???

Three possible builds for PVE … Any tyrant owners want to lend a hand ?

 

  1. Shield regeneration build / high damage output and crit  DPS

  1. Full Tank and max range

  1. Mix of shield and a bit of hull could go long range  or high crit with a crystal plate for extra hull resistance

[‘Halo’ Launcher 15][Isotope Harvester 15][Multiphase shield 15][Warp-stream detector 15][Multipurpose shield 15] third shield  is EM or thermal what ever works best other 2 modules are up in the air now  … have rank 14 everything  but photon … also any advise on the [Thermoactive weapon 15] ??? worth 3000 gs ? or is it a [Coilgun 15]/[Vulcan 15] hybrid ? any suggestions would be helpful I  like  1) and 2) my Sybil is  basically 2) but any help that would keep xKostyan from trolling my build would lower my blood pressure considerably . THX guys

 

 

The third one is the best choice.

why not second special module that gives really high damage bonus? i haven’t used ofc but on paper it looks way better than others

For PvE the third spec module is actually the best IMHO. Stabilizer adds dps, however the third one adds flexibility and it’s perfectly enough in DPS department.

I use this for PvP, but it works for PvE aswell:

 

1 Capacitor: Heatsink

3 Shield: EM resist, Warp Stream Detector, Shield Splitter

2 Hull: Crystal, Reinforced Beams

3 CPU: crit damage, lockon reduction, horizon

 

Warp reflector spec module,

Photon, Multiphase Shield, Isotope Harvester, Wormhole

 

Thermoreactive Weapon, Vanadium shells

 

Static Shield

 

7c, 2b, 6c (6b if you fight slow ships only)

 

 

The Thermoreactive Weapon provides very high dps with pinpoint accuracy and (whith this setup) up to 60% crit chance, 73% crit damage (103 if you use 6b)

The Warp Reflector is very powerful vs fast ships and a great defensive Weapon.

The Warp Stream detector provides you with shields every time something pops close to you (which happens a lot due to the Warp Reflector)

And 7c aswell as the energy drain reductions provide you with infinite energy when you are getting shot at.

The buffed Isotope harvester will charge your shields by an average amount of 10k. It can almost completely charge your shield (even with the Shield Splitter installed) if you use it on a PvE cluster.

Photon debuffes EM resists while Isotope and Warp Reflector deal EM damage, which is very synergetic.

 

Its an absolute menace to enemy frigballs and somewhat easy to defend due to the Special modules short reload.

 

The Thermoreactive Weapon also makes the coolest sound ever: “BWOOM BWAAM BWAAM BWOOM”

THX SO MUCH!!!… If I could only up vote you more than once for this class in tyrant builds and the reasons why  with stats from actual PVE … NICE JOB !!!      So you say spend the 3000 gs and get the [Thermoactive weapon 15] .

[Shield Splitter 15]   not   [Multipurpose shield 15] ? it would allow 9a … maybe i don’t understand 9a completely …

I got the Thermoreactive Weapon before the introduction of the trade system. It was just credits back then :confused:

 

In PvE however, the Halo might be more effective (but way less fun).

Is it a missile ??? (Maneuvering speed 120deg/sec) apart from launcher rotation speed 90 deg/sec

Lots of people usually say that engine mods are useless on destroyers, but keep in mind acceleration. They have super pitiful acceleration so sometimes being able to switch movement directions fast will save your bum.

 

I usually do 1 engine, 2 cap, 3 shield, 1 hull, 2 CPU.

 

Tyrant is also a brawler so being able to stay in LoS to your target is always good.

I think that the Sirius destroyer needs another buff for that engine module, like increased speed acceleration by 25-33%.

Yeah. With all the nerfs that destroyers get every patch, all their stuff needs a small buff.
