There we go. That was the explanation I wanted. However you may then consider services such as Amazon. I have an account there, can purchase things, but any verification procedure is carried out by my bank, not by Amazon. I have never had to download something for them or receive confirmation text messages. At most a confirmation e-mail.
But anyway, purchases should be made secure by your bank or paypal or Steam or whatever, not by Gaijin. That’s how I understand online transactions anyhow.
Smart statement and also valid.
I prefer my information to be kept by someone I trust.
There is no guarantee or 100% assurances, but in the case of Gaijin, I do have second thoughts.
Well, I just used google autenticator on chrome. If you are worried about your browser history to be sent to google, I’m afraid you are too late for that…
Also, you can just uninstall the app everytime if you want to, and then re install it again everytime.
I rather have that they hack my account then install some app wich does who knows what with you info and your pc. It will be hard to find more fans then the 2 people wich already posted in this topic.

I’m not a fan of this. It is intrusive and a pain in the xxxx. But the google autenticator is a clean app.
Come on, am I the only one here who play Blizzard games? Autenticator anyone?
This is not just a password for a forum, it is a unified account for your forum, gaijin store and game, and if you keep in mind that it is indeed have access for real money purchases, you might remember all “authorization” steps needed to perform for such services everywhere else. So all of a sudden 2 step authorization make sense to protect YOUR money.
I havent spend a single dolar on this game and im not considering on doing that at all, unless i get a job…wich will take time, also i would spend a lot of money on other things first (like getting a much better PC). Option should remain as it is now. I dont want to deal with privacy bs like i just did with W10 disabling many many many options, specially with something that doesnt allows me to configure privacy stuff at all, just to gather data for 3rd party just like Koromac says (nice comment there koro). I have no money invested here and i need no extra protection to protect my “no money” xD, making this mandatory only seems to bring negative things without any positive outcome (log in once per month aint bad but i dont care to log in daily).
