2)3) These things already have their own topics for discussion.
- An exchange system between players offers a great area for exploiting and bot farming and this is the main reason the trading system is not planned at this stage.
This x 100
Trading is the ruin of many a good game. The people that want trade just want to get all their stuff and not actually doing anything to get it. I have been playing for 3 weeks now and I have 2 really nice Epic items. I feel that I’m on a good pace, sure I have a bunch of green and purple items that I can’t use but they are going to implement crafting so you will be able to break down items and create new items.

Omg, im gonna stop reading you cause im gonna eat my keyboard other way.
The devs do the right thing, leave trading out of the game.
With trading you get:
- matches, where 50% of the players are automated bots, flying around stupidly and shooting now and then, to not get kicked
- get 34214 tells as soon as you log on, who want to sell you gold for $
- everyone will drop the game after 3 weeks, because they have all the loot they want, and no GOAL anymore (goals are important in games)
- the global channel will be flooded by goldsellers
- duping
- scamming
So far, so good, but what are the consequences of all that?
- the Devs WILL have to spend time on writing counter-measures against whisper-spam, global-spam and bots in matches
(it will all be fruitless)
- players like you and me will start to report players as botters, which needs staff to be read, verified and taken action upon.
(which won’t help, since accounts are… wait for it … FREE)
- prices will inflate to hilarious values (anyone remember d3?)
- the devs will have LESS time working on other improvements.
Say no to trading.

Thats why GuildWars, EVE online, WoW, actually all the well known MMOs were huge fails.
but in these games you can farm money/ressources without hurting other peoples fun. here you can’t do things alone, there are always other players which rely on you (and you rely on them). and farm-bots would hurt this system in a devastating way.

Well on eve its the same… And i never played wow, but i heard about elite dunjons or xxxx like that where people need to rely on others.
Actually on every multiplayer game people need to rely on thers…

Never played guildwars
Eve has a dedicated taskforce to stop RMTers.
WoW doesn’t care
fail by your definition. but not what the market is saying on all of the games.

Yes and no. WoW has bots that act nearly human. Eve is too easy to multi box, while WoW needs bots to multi box.
Damn, even when i do irony, people doesnt understand…
bots in WoW don’t go in dungeons or something (at least when i played it). bots only make simple fights against some mobs or farm resources to sell them in the exchange

No. That’s why I don’t play them. But you can, i mean they got trading, so … cya
@RadimentiX: When he doesn’t acknowledge the problems of trading in the slightest and his argument is sarcasm, he stopped listening and started trolling.
Trading won’t work in a game like this, not in a million years.
WOT has proven that it doesn’t need trading.

I love how people against that bring constructive reasons to explain why it would be a bad idea.
The boting problem which is just realated to looting mechanics, is the only true and explicit reason someone gave me atm…
Is this game WoT? Nope. So dont tell me that.
Btw, if you think trade is crap, nothing says that if its implemented you would have to trade your stuff.
I really dont understand you guys.
I only understand you guys dont like freedom.

And fueled the bot , account hacking, bank account robbery trough the virtual way, account buy and sell markets, aswell as playerbase complains regarding the afk / bot / diminished gameplay quality issues.
Just sayin…
And WoT revolves around on how much money you spend so that makes the whole market arguement as moot.

Well atm SC as already problems of botting anyway…
Wouldnt change a lot.
Even I could make a macro bot for pvp with the actual system.
Not to win, just to look like a noobie making crap and getting the credits/loots at the end of the game.
EDIT :

Btw, WHAT? I guess you’re speaking about mining. Cause other way just lolol.

What will that bring you to run some code for a bot? Even a halfway player will be more or less able to shoot you down and the bot wont help a bit, in the end its all about completing map objectives and not sollely raking up kills.
and he was more or less right, you could pvp with two accounts simultaneously, i did that with my both accounts, one for damage/tank the other for ECM/Support… that is roaming and picking up targets alone or in small gang warfare

I do play SC and clearly my reading and comprehension skills top yours by a very large margin…
just sayin…
Clearly not. But im gonna stop here with you cause its becoming personnal and pointless.

It’s personal and pointless because like most of the threads you post in you don’t seem to understand what people are telling you. If you want something in the game then earn it yourself. Trade ruins games and brings into play all kinds of problems. This has been explained to you in several posts in here yet you just ignore it like you know best. I have been playing online games since Ultima Online and as someone with experience with all the listed problems I can safely say that leaving trade out of this game is a GREAT idea. I love not seeing GOLD farmers spamming the chat and sending you messages all the time. You obviously have never played or you are to young to understand the issue which is obvious by your posts.
