According to russian forums, the tourney has been moved to weekend. There are quite a few russian teams that already signed up.
Trivia: first one to sign up with full roster was ESB. Almost like they had some inside knowledge about this tourney and had the team prepared ;)wt
In general, as I understood it, this was originally meant to be a relaxed “fan tourney”, but considering the tone on the russian forums, there are quite a few “do or die” people making the teams so expect some cutthroat action.

Teams: Team of 11 people. Availability of backup people justified to the beginning of tournament, respectively, during the tournament structure of the team can’t be changed. Force majeure situations are considered separately by administration.

Rewards have been changed!
1st place: 4500 gold for each pilot of the team and the opportunity to choose a unique sticker
2nd place: 3000 gold for each pilot of the team

What server will the tournament be held on? This is very important, as high pings make interceptors near-impossible to fly correctly. I would prefer a NA server.

Also what about purples and Mk3? Purples require a tremendous amount of time to get and Mk3s require rank 6 loyalty. So a team of 11 with all purples and mk3s are having better chance of winning compare to a team of 11 with all Mk2s. How about we all use Mk2 and make it even (or Mk3 at least)?
I have only purple guns at T2… And at T4 too, mostly 
Really don’t know why my random is giving me weapons but none of ordinary modules…
However purple won’t help to win if you aren’t supposed to win anyway - experimental modules giving almost none advantage - just compare numbers with mk3.
True, its not a huge difference, but I see it as a better incentive.
