So I just found that PvE battles net you more rare loot. This has blown my mind as I never do them. So any tips for the best way to outfit a PvE group, tiers, and missions.
How do you guys find the good stuff?
Pick squad of 4 players and kill these bots without any chance! Support modules on frigates are very helpful, fighters need to use some hull/shield repairs for pve emergency situations. Interceptors are almost useless for pve right now, but I hope we’ll get some pve utility for them soon! You need at least one frigate with support modules in squad. Fighters with commanding modules are very helpful too.
Loot is just freaking random. Click on the purple one and then whatever the rest.
I usually just look at the map before the end of the match and pay attention to where most of the fighting occurred. Then I click where I think there would be the most debris. Seems to get me 4 out of 5 every time.

i get purple loot when i do well by not doing anything lol

you can also get some greens from PVP, I got one yesterday, but they’re rare.
The problem I have is getting into a group that can beat it with any kind of consistency.
Does that scenario scale in difficulty based on the level of ships in the match? Would it be easier if all players went in with a T1 ship?

How I play:
The loot seems random. I’ve found nothing that helps me get better loot beyond the Purple node when beating the PvE scenario. I’ve also received in an Arcade Mode PvP game 1 purple and 1 green in the same win.
Wynn’s protip
Take a frig spec for healing alway top score and up your odds of team beating it,
For pve I use Fed frigs with healing drones, shield and hull group repair and pulsar.
The only extra loot you get during a scenario is the special purple loot point if you win, and that only seem to give T2 things anyway.
And don’t leave the enemy commanders/captains alone. You leave them to your mates while potting the small fry/objective, you’ll soon find 1) you got no more team mates and 2) that supertank captain is now coming for you and you are going to solo him like you left your “friend” to be soloed. Hang together or literally hang seperately when that captain comes to kill your team one by one.
