Yes, I understand you are only asking for one beacon. But you are excluding the entirety of the base of gameplay who are never even going to stand a chance of even getting nothing (no, this is not a double negative). I was a player who actually was happy to see leagues introduced because then I wouldn’t have to run into the Nova, DNO, SCORP farm squads and have to die every single battle I was even put in as a random player. In fact, I was actually over the moon when these players were disallowed their kill-squad queueing.
I don’t usually post stuff like this, but you have officially made me and a whole bunch of players very, very angry.
If you really want players to succeed, change this from ‘Tournament’ (which is in 3 days…) to ‘Skirmish’. This way, we don’t have to risk the pathetic squads of leagues and waste our time with achieving absolutely negative anything.
It’s a typo that is supposed to say SC Leagues. But I am actually more angry about being forced to play against the same players I wanted to escape from in the first place and I am even more furious that the rest of the community doesn’t stand a chance
Except for, we all know it’s definitely all of the above. I am by no stretch an elite player and I believe that forcing the lesser experienced players to fight elite wings is more explicit than even the worst vulgarities. It’s a direct spit in everyone’s face.
No one is “forcing” you to play that mode, your own greed makes you think that way.
From the beginning of time, special events and tougher competition yield higher rewards.
Take olympics for the example, you get xxxx tons of money for each gold medal (depending on the country though), but you don’t see your regular joe going around crying on how world forcing him to participate to get those money.
Do you think majority of people compete at hard core level for fun? It is definitely part of it, but rewards play major role in it too, we get it you don’t have awesome team and neither you are a good player, but why do you think you are entitled for the rewards best of the best get?
Here is an example, on last intercorporation tournament, team that took 1st place won about 50 000 gold for each member, how is it different?
40 GS are very important for me btw, last mission was taking out 30 NPCs at fire support…easily done in a single game.
It tournament rank 7-9 not SC Leagues
If it was tournament, you would loose 2-3 missions (since each day you get a new one and the old one goes to waste if you didnt completed it) because tournaments start in saturnday
That really shouldn’t be that hard. Any n00bs can cap one beacon. Here’s my strat for you: go 4 recons, 2 to each beacon. you’ll cap at least one, then you can do regular strats. It’s really not that hard, out of 13 matches i’ve played in the past 2 days, i’ve won 12. Just get a decent league team, play engi and good teams will take you.
Devs removed 4 man squads so PvP is more fair to average and solo players. Elite pilots and corps should have their place, place for elite teamwork and skill. As I see it SC league and tournaments are no place for crying. So if someone cant take the pressure he can stay in other game mods or he could start practicing.
As i recollect u r CEO of SE (now with your second or third account), but u r keep changing corporations - BEAST, LAIR, FDEF. (maybe in hope u will be important one day), also I remeber the times when u start to keep kissing up to Omega (“your friend” - quoted ) but it seems that WPK guys know how to recognize your kind … of players.
My advice to u is to stop crying and to start working on your own skill and your own corporation.

yeah, playing leagues is like biting into dry bread. You may even bleed out of your mouth.

Yes it will be available, fulfilling of new year’s tasks just makes it easier.
