Ok, ok, enough of this. We have this weekend a match against R4ge, so I’m looking foward to more corp games in the future. It would be awesome if we organize a match between NASA and WPK when both corps can make it (time zones yeah), with someone recording and everyone having a challenging and fun game.

Hmm, how about we actually pick a time in sector conquest and do a 12 v 12 wing? Problem would be to select a server that is good for both sides so one does not have a ping advantage over the other.

You arent going to find enough NASA members for a full wing at that time. Most of the players are in 19:00-24:00 pst (3:00-8:00 GMT) it is almost opposite times it is almost impossible to organize ALL the top pilots on both sides to participate
Basically what xKostyan said, I would not mind going to bed at 6 am in orther to be at NASA’s timezone and have a match against them, but most of my mates can’t do that or simply don’t want, that’s why organizing a match in custom battle would be easier, although it would still be hard.

I suggest the game mode to be “capture the beacons” and if we have time we can go in for a “combat recon” after.

That would be a fine game actually. Don’t know if there is a good map for it, but some maneuvering challenge would be fine.
It was like when in an MMO we had a headjump challenge, you had to jump at all the NPCs head at a spot, fastest win. Fun to have out-of-the-borders races.
You could do it in a Capture the Beacons. Have non-racers clear all the drones and then each racer start at their Beacon A (or an agreed upon neutral start). The race is to cap the enemy beacons. No weapons fire permitted during play.
The tutorial has this “obstacle course” with the gates you need to fly through. If you make it a full map you’ve your racing map.

Fed Recon with speed build and energy stable. Or a King Nibelung with full purple lightweight hull. I think you can reach almost 700 m/s without AB.
Depending on the map beacon positioning, is a no brainer. Of course I’m not talking about using MWD, but the recons have the best capture speed in the whole game.

Interesting, a race would be awesome! We definitely need to do that!
Beacons are too straight goal i think. Though Ice Reef could be nice. You don’t need capture, you can design any object as checkpoint, you just have to make someone sit there.

I’m as surprised as you. Anyway, Koromac is not one of our officers, so I doubt that was official, and most likely a joke. As our officials said before, at this moment WPK is only recruiting for direct invitation.
Well, he wasn’t really recruiting for you guys but for the Wo fl pack Corporation anyway (someone tell him it’s written The Wafflepack ), so I guess that’s ok. :yes_yes:
He wasn’t recruiting at all :), he was trying to encourage people to join good corporation to have more competition and signed as WPK, he didn’t try to promote WPK as recruitment :))
