The WolfPack [WPK]

the rest farming tier 3

There’s a thing called ‘fun’, and we currently honestly enjoy T3 gameplay far more than T5. Sure, we can all easily hop in T5, but what’s the point? Bragging rights? Give me a break. Just locusting our way up to T5 is not entertaining for us.

I am NOT waiting 10 minutes for a T5 PVP match, end of story

Onliest guy playing t5 everyday in pvp is a guy called n0w. from wpk. the rest farming tier 3. (or just invisible in tier 5 the last weeks)

This is intended, as it states in our mission statement on the first page:

“The WolfPack [WPK], is a  competitive PvP corporation  that is focusing on  T3-T4  play”

And since T4 is dead, we stay in T3.

You will not see us in T5 because the game won’t let our group in T5.

We firmly believe in working together as a one, coherent team. Solid teamwork, strict organisation and profound strategy are the foundations of our success. We have the means and the will to play in large groups, preferably 4 or more.

We are not playing T5 for a simple reason: we want to play as a group in larger games, without waiting too long for a game.

If you ever see any WPK pilots in T5 is probably if they are soloing, and n0w is actually one of the few in our corp that is often online when most of the others are at work, so he is usually soloing some T5 (I used to do the same to get some sinergy on T5s, but it is not as fun as playing with a group of friends, so there’s not much reason left to keep doing it).

Waiting times for squads in T5 are much longer and we have given up on waiting, we have our lives and I have spent too much time with waiting in hangar already, we want to keep practicing our teamwork as much as possible, while having fun. This is not optimal in T5, because waiting times are too long, and games are either too small, or have some very bad, pve players. It is not worth waiting so long, for a boring game like that.

It is faster to get a game in T3, and games are bigger. T5 has many, many pve tier rushers that know nothing about pvp, that think that all that matters is the level of your ship. We do not agree with this philosophy, and I personally think it is very closed minded. Most of us have maxed out T5 ships but we do not fly them, because games in T5 are not fun, take too long, and sometimes have more clueless players than in T3. Solid proof is the teammates we get in Sector Conquest, who are mostly not capable of flying anything else than a poorly fitted guard or an engineer that does not know how to turn on heals. T5 is just full of people like that, more than any other tier. They just play pve all day by themselves and think that this is the best that the game has to offer. That is why we stay in T3, where games are many and games are big, and it will remain so until there is a good reason for us to switch to T5. Seriously, my ships are in hangar and I have milions of credits I have nowhere to spend on. If T5 would be any fun, I would play it, but watching the clock tick and carrying clueless pvers on your team is not fun.

Yep i have to agree with you Neo (whom shall forever be my rival and my friend) as T5 PVP is practically deserted during the preparation time of SQ.

I know thats the only time where you can actually get quick T4/5 games because it allows ranks 7-15.

They’re these very interesting things called “life” and “work”. You should give it a try, they’re rather interesting.

As for now being the only guy in T5… well, it happens. But you don’t get anywhere near his heels, skill-wise, so it’s fine.

And I play T3 because I need Synergy. And Pirate DLC ships are pretty much an i-Win button to get Synergy.

His longest sesion is 1 day 7 hours, what is work and what is life btw?

This.

While being (proud) member of ESB, I completely agree with my friends from WPK.

I´ll inform you when ESB is switching sides, so we may have for at least one day no Zerglings at our side.

:edit for zapbranninghan.

the guy under me, 1 more kill, and 3 more assists. but less points.

did you even read the patch notes? the ones dealing the most damage gets the most points. as the ship is being destroyed. also i was shooting mostly at ESB players but they where always healing so fast and everyone was behind asteroids.

waow dude. also djoylok was leader and after 8 minutes they where camping at their own spawn point. hiding behind asteroids.

also i used a guard the entire time pushing forward. since its no other way to get points in recon. (a guard is not to deal huge damage, still i get the second most damage dealt by the ships killed) if they all would died it would been a diff story.

also earlier ppl compare my stats to raymaru. i mean, there is epic stats to get in tier 1-2 aswell as tier 3 with a squad. but i know raymaru. he does not do many games with squads of what i know.

Vome back us when you defeat a full ESB squad.

A couple of random esb isnt a big deal, its when there are 4+ you need to worry.

There is 3 types of ESB squads.

  1. The super serious ones. They are on TS and they are working to milk the most points and kills.

  2. The farming squad, where objectives dont matter, points do

  3. The unknown, WTF squads where they come in, kick your butt so hard, your in another galaxy.

dude its a link man. do you even read?

vs 4 ESB. my second tier 3 match or first one i believe. lol dude.

These are my favorites to go against

Well, you didnt kill neither the Squad nor their captain.

Your team, obviously not so much you, killed more ships. This happens quite often, especially when your/the other team starts to do a lemming train… over and over and over again.

Exactly this. Winning against a 4 man squad from any corp in a game that’s bigger than 4v4 accounts to practically nothing. The squad members can’t control the actions of their teammates.

Then of course, your team would normally have a four man as well at the same time…

So the new meta is T3 elites. Too bad I do not have sai, but I do have 4 prems to play with

Seems like Djoylok had a nice time time killing PPL behind his rock… Ascela, too.  :)wt

I still dont get your obsession with “dealt damage”… It means so absolutely nothing to me…

And besides that. What does dealt damage mean afterall, if you fail to kill? Killing is one of the objectives, you know? In fact thats why your team won that match.

And about Raymaru… I cant even care less, in fact I love to see him beaten (good job tho). But thats my little personal quarrel   :secret:

And its ZapBrannigan.
