A question from a user: “Is there any documentation for all the warning signals you receive when flying around? Ive seen red round ones and square ones, maybe more, gets hectic. I figure its stages of missile lock and regular targeting? Thanks!”
I am unsure, anyone know?

I don’t think there is any documentation on this, I’ll try to put something together tomorrow evening with some print screens.

Awesome. Thank you! I have let the user know but also provided temporary info
The problem with the steam reviews is this: Everybody who hates it rates the other negative reviews as helpful.
So, even though almost 90% of the reviews are positive, 19/20 reviews on the “most helpful” are negative. Disproportionate? Disproportionate.
The worst of these has 1875 people rating it as helpful, and 121 rating it as not helpful. It has three totally ridiculous points: That this game is practically subscription-based and P2W (it isn’t), that the GMs are abusive (they aren’t), and that special modules should be able to be changed (okay maybe, but I don’t think that’s wise).
That one’s staying up there no matter how hard this forum tries. Not about to out-weight 1875 people, no matter how misinformed they are.
But towards the bottom, there’s a negative review rated 55/14. If we tried, we could replace that with a positive review.
C’mon. Just get over to the “most helpful”, “positive”, and “negative” reviews. Vote up the positive ones, vote down the negative ones. If you really want to, read them and vote if they’re accurate or not. I don’t feel like spending that sort of time, so instead, I’ll just try to get a more proportionate sample of the reviews on the “most helpful” page.

I couldn’t figure out what he meant by square warning signs. (edit: I figured it out now, it is probably the debuffs at the top)

i got pills for it. i just don’t take em.
We are trying to understand why some player feel they are being abused by admin. I can assure you there is no such thing, I would like to remember every one that if you think you have been abused, you can report it using this thread.
“I started playing Star Conflict about three days ago, and so far I’m really enjoying it. I’ve noticed, however, that many PvE maps (and two known PvP maps) cause my frames per second to drop into oblivion for seemingly no reason. On maps that do not cause this issue, my NVidia GTX-570 graphics card runs fine and I get ~70 fps on the highest available settings. I’ve attempted to turn my graphics down to minimum, and it’s had no effect. This has been frustrating to both me and my friends who I’ve recruited to squad with me, and if anyone has a clue as to how to resolve this, I’d very much appreciate if they shared it.”
tell him to pass this parameter:
“<full path>\star conflict\game.exe” -nod3d9ex

“<full path>\star conflict\game.exe” -nod3d9ex
This is confusing for most, can you please explain, step by step what to do? I will copy and paste your response. Thanks
Using steam:
In the Steam Library, right click the game and go to Properties. Click the SET LAUNCH OPTIONS… button, then add -nod3d9ex argument in the popup dialog.
Not using steam:
create a short cut for a game.exe -> properties -> Shortcut tab -> find “Target” field and add -nod3d9ex

Thank you Kos! Much appreciated sir
I’ve noticed that there is sort of a zoomed out view and a zoomed in view. When you zoom in, at some point the lens changed significantly. When you are zoomed out there are arrows around the HUD to show where nearby enemies are, but I can’t find them when it’s zoomed in. Am I missing them? I like playing with oculus but it only does zoomed in mode and the lack of arrows is a serious disadvantage.
Any ideas? Or is this something that should be brought to Dev attention?

No sorry, no idea. i have no Oculus Rift and I don’t see any similar problem without it.
I’ve been on the SR for a little while now. Decent place, good content. Looks like admins/devs are posting stuff there too which is nice.
I’ve put up a post or two of my own, mainly the Dreadnought Battle videos.
Looking forward to seeing more stuff soon.
I made a Steam review, since they finally let me link my account.
