The Prophet. Echoes of the universe

Nobody noticed how it happened. Just now there was nothing on the panel of the ship, and it appeared, in the blink of an eye…

…An image of an old man, weak and hunched, sitting in a wheelchair. Clear eyes were shining on his wrinkled face, and his voice was lively and strong. An unknown, irregularly shaped object was lying on the old man’s lap.

“I’m Larry Seldon,” he said.

There was silence, ominous, as if the portals were about to open, from where the green ones would crawl out.

— I am Larry Seldon! I don’t know if anyone is listening to me, but it doesn’t matter.

I’m almost certain the plan will succeed. Throughout this year, the success rate was ninety-four and two-tenths percent, — He smiled and added softly. — If one of you is standing, sit down. I am not present here in the flesh, and it is unlikely that any of you will have an opportunity to see me live.

Let’s go back to the latest events. Once again in its history, the human world is going through a war, perhaps its final stage. So far, all attacks from outside have been met with a decent response. This was the will of psychohistory. Currently, there is a struggle between humans, their ancestors and creatures in the form of different AIs, generating each other.

This process is inevitable, and its result is obvious.

This period of silence was difficult for us. Indeed, the global war with aliens, which we predicted long before it began, has passed. But the problem lies elsewhere. As mentioned earlier, there are systems that aliens cannot infiltrate due to specific conditions. Survivors of the war will be able to hide in such places. The problem with these systems is now more obvious than we previously thought — Pirates.

And although the Enclave is not such a big threat compared to the Aliens, their arrival and influence on mercenaries greatly undermines the state between the major players in the form of factions. As it was planned earlier, I and several other scientists watched from the shadows as the indirect clues of our global plan “New Foundation” led humanity into a new world.

Surprisingly, our calculations were accurate with minimal errors. Psychohistory is astonishing.

We have already discussed that the appearance of aliens is not caused by a desire to destroy all living things. They were looking for something very powerful, something that generated the signal itself. Several of these things, according to the people themselves, were transferred to the Enclave forces with the help of the “black relay”. But that was not a true goal at all.

According to our data, these are just the remnants of aliens’ new toys. Yes, crystallids, like our race, do not stand still. It was with the help of such artifacts that the Enclave began to distribute the first seed-chips. Having mastered the technology, seed-chips began to appear on black markets en masse and now almost every pilot has one.

However, the Enclave is not as simple as it seems. We think that now they are the main broker between the Revenants and the “Friendly” world. The contracts for the expedition to Leviathan, opened by the brokers are a proof of this. It is very strange that after such a long time the dead world creates life again, don’t you think?

Another oddity is the extreme secrecy of Ellydium. They were so entrenched in their burrows that the idea of a total extermination of mankind did not make them show any activity.

We suspect that this web of events is leading to the disclosure of all cards and to a new era of relationships between the states. I bet each side in this matter will manage to surprise us yet.

Oh yes they have station, but then why Factions arent using the dreadnoughts? Ok, enclve haves more dreadnoughts… But cmon, corps have 1000+ dreadnoughts, don’t say me they can’t capture 7 pirate stations???

Judging by how many 4-person PvE missions end in the total capture or destruction of major sections of space I don’t see how a small team of fully packed dreads wouldn’t be able to do the job lol
