Sector Conquest, i.e. realistic mode, is played in every single cycle.

Not if there aren’t enough players on. CEO was in queue for 30 minutes a few days ago without getting a match, before giving up. And if I do find a match, it’s 5v5 at most.

If you would’ve spend real money for license, you would’ve have r15s

How many tier 4/5 ships have you leveled by only playing PvE? And I won’t spend money on anything that doesn’t work half the time I want it to.

we recently got an Invasion mode, which bleed-ed population from all tiers by a lot, considering a lot of players playing sec con have an access to Invasion, that mode got hit drastically as well

 

i leveled engineering and guards purely through pve black wood T3 to t5 federation, back then when it was much slower. pretty much all other ships i leveled r10-12 through free synergy from t3 premium ships and then through sec con. t4-t5 random PvP i only plaed during 1-2 weekend in the last 1.5 year.

 

as of now i have all t5 emp and Federation ships. 3 ships need 1 more syn level. And i play when there are no more than 600 players online, always.

Ok, but even then, I can still only play beacon capture mode for an hour at most each day. And I don’t expect any changes in population for a very long time. Meh, just commenting from boredom now. Done with this thread.

After about 500 PvE games it starts getting very repetitive very quick.  Anything to shorten the grind to T5 helps since T4 PvE is almost non existent during off hours.

Even in EU peak hours it’s very hard to get a meaningful T4 skirmish, mostly it’s 4v4. I don’t want to imagine the pain in off hours.

 

This was not the case when I entered T4 (month, 2 months ago, don’t remember), so probably this Open World killed T4…

It has affected T3 as well.  

t3-5 skirmish has probably lost about half the players to openworld :frowning:

 

skirmish is so much better as well (the maps in openworld look nice tho)

and now it’s a problem of “omfg T4 DREAD DEFENDING A T3 ZONE

-That is, I have no idea if T4 dreads can defend a T3 zone, or attack one, or both.

What is known is that T3 dread cannot attack T4 zones.

I would love it if there was a clear line to seperate Teirs, making T3 sectors T3 only, no T4/T5 dreads, and T4 being T4 only, no T3/T5 dreads, T5 is T5 only, No T3/T4 dreads.

And that the Upgraded modules should not be on the dreadnought when attacking a lower tier sector.

T4 dread is scaled down to T3 when fighting in T3 sector… Please read the description. So No T4 modules in T3 battles.

And T3 dread can attack T4 sector (why not?).
