Mission objectives to capture 2 beacons:

requirements:

T2 ship or higher

Rank 7 with Federation

 

I went in battle, warped and captured Beacon A (first to capture beacon medal)

I then warped to Beacon C. Killed the 1 guy there and captured that beacon.

 

Mission did not reward or complete… still shows 0/2 beacon captures.

Pretty sure that mission also says you need to win to get credit for the captures.

You don’t need to win (that’s the R8 contract you’re thinking of) but you must not have lower than T2 ships in your line-up even if you did not fly them. That’s usually where players go wrong.
