The Duo is four ships in one. Or is it one ship in four? Regardless, you’ll always have a hard time keeping track of which one is which when fighting a coordinated team of these fierce ships. Their individualized and unique abilities are used in tandem with eachother and when fighting side by side they are all but unstoppable. There are four ‘phases’ of the Duo currently: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta.
The Alpha Duo is the leader of the pack. With deadly damaging abilities, they are always a threat to any ship. The Beta Duo is more suited for defending the team rather than flying out and destroying things. They are always good to have on your team because they will always have your back. The Gamma Duo is a slithery ship with a myriad of abilities to disorient and flee. If you’re ever in a bind, the Gamma Duo is the go-to teammate to get you out of a sticky situation. The Delta Duo is the final yet probably most important member of the team. While not suited towards combat for the most part, the Delta Duo is crafty when it comes to on-the-fly gizmos and gadgets, as well as supporting their allies.
While any individual Duo isn’t much of a threat, if two of them get smart and work together, they are without a doubt the most feared combo in the galaxy.
Alpha is Red.
Beta is Blue.
Gamma is Yellow.
Delta is Green.

Special: Extra turrets are released for 10 seconds, firing when you fire your main weapons. Projectile speed will match your own weapons’. Also boosts the damage and rate of fire for the other Duo by 33% for 10 seconds.
Recharge: 15 seconds
Special Module: Beta Link
Tooltip: When activated, the Duo nearest to your crosshairs is alerted. If they activate their Special Module, you switch positions and activate your special abilities. Must be within 5,000m for the module and effects to work.
Special: Three special shields are deployed that orbit your ship for 10 seconds. Each can absorb 7,000pts of damage before being disabled for 3 seconds. Also boosts the damage resistance of the other Duo by 150pts for 10 seconds.
Recharge: 15 seconds
Special Module: Gamma Link
Tooltip: When activated, the Duo nearest to your crosshairs is alerted. If they activate their Special Module, you switch positions and activate your special abilities. Must be within 5,000m for the module and effects to work.
Special: Overcharged thrusters are released that allow the ship to strafe and reverse as fast as their max speed for 10 seconds. Also increases acceleration to the max speed and breaks all locks once every 3 seconds for both Duos for 10 seconds.

Special Module: Delta Link
Tooltip: When activated, the Duo nearest to your crosshairs is alerted. If they activate their Special Module, you switch positions and activate your special abilities. Must be within 5,000m for the module and effects to work.
Special: Scatters micro-drones in a 5,000m radius that cloak for 10 seconds. They activate when an enemy comes within 1,000m and attack them until destroyed. If a damaged ally comes within 1,000m of one, they are healed. The other Duo gains two tow-drones that increase speed and acceleration, as well as regenerate their hull and shields for 10 seconds.
Recharge: 15 seconds
I’ll add special active modules later. This would be a ship that you craft once in the traditional way, then can change the special module, passive modules, and rank for maybe 250,000cr whenever you want.
Meant to encourage diversified team-play even with random players. If two Duo ships are used, they create incredible synergy with eachother and boost effectiveness greatly.
