Judging from the disasterous decision to make the destroyers unavailable after the event, I expect the mission rewards to be “increased” by a negative amount.
How will you handle r14 destroyers’ usage in PvP after the event? Will you give us a preview on the other two destroyers before Sirius is gone forever? So we can at least decide which one to build (if we are lucky enough to actually get enough resources) before they are gone forever?
Pretty accurate prediction thus far, the rewards went from 15 Beryllium/Electrum rewarded for their respective event task to 10 Beryllium and 5 Electrum rewarded for their respective event task.
Task reward will increase on Monday (something like 30 elec I guess)
In the meantime though is there a valid reason to decrease the initial rewards other than to stifle our (free) progression towards a R14 destroyer?
I also know by looking at the past that opinions of what is considered a lot of resources and a fair time investment differs greatly between the devs and the community. So like usual i take this whole event and what is being said by the devs with a grain of salt.

No, they did not decrease it. It was the planed reward, they released a list of day->reward, and it’s corresponding

So i looked around and you’re right there is a set of rewards for each day. My point remains though, is there a reason to begin with to lower rewards (most notably only 5 Electrum on certain days) other than to stifle free progression, combine this with the limited time we have to gather the resources and some of the points made by other people about it feeling like a cash grab definitely resonates with me.
well they do show some new stuff, not only Sirius, but also some new things like augmented cooler and destabilizing field…
so it’s fine to spend some money to support them…but it’s always good to have a Price Match Guarantee…
actually, i like the way they sell things in MWO, pay like $100~200 every month, and the new mechs will be ready in game. just play and have fun.
They’re not Walmart, they’re not going to have a price match guarantee. Since each online game is their own little self contained unit, they will adjust prices in each however they see fit, as a consumer you just may not like what they do though. In one game I played there were various playable characters, and some cost money to acquire, at one point they were pushing the purchase of those characters through packages where each had one character, and some other stuff. Except they knew full well some of them were going to be permanently changed to free characters the very next week, people complained afterwards of course, but I don’t think it did any good. That’s the kind of BS you need to expect to happen, the thing you bought may be given away for free for all you know the next day, and even if it is, you’ll be stuck with that charge on your credit card, as if you try to do a charge back, the company (referring to basically any online gaming company here) will likely permanently close your account on you. This is why you need to go into every purchase in online games by accepting the cost today, as you have no idea what it will be tomorrow.
You may be ok with the idea of spending that much money to get ships in this game, or spending money to go through the progression system of a game like some others are, but not everyone feels that way. They’re purposely limiting the time each ship is available, only discounting the boxes of the first to types of materials, not the third, and leaving other details behind this wall of secrecy to help get people like yourself to spend more money now to get all three ships. If you don’t like that, leave your wallet in your pocket.
In fact Sybil in game have weak shields and strong hull, so what he hell is wrong on this (in game) picture
That description is made for the main ships of the game, the ones SC started with and kept for a long time before destroyers appeared (although i would say that jericho isnt characterised for having a strong capacitor…guards do, but the faction itself doesnt). In practical means it translated into having ships with more shields and less hulls than any other faction. Now destroyers are a totally new ship class which doesnt goes against this characteristics; destroyers overall have much more hulls than shield…based on that, jericho has strong shields since it is the faction with more shields, and weak hull since its the one with less hulls, so the principle remains. Jericho has much more hulls than shields, but you have to consider you will mostly use more shield slots than hulls (cause otherwise you wouldve picked another ship like fed), have good regeneration (from the special mod and passive mods) and probably go for multiphase which will further increase your shield durability, making a ship with strong shields…depending on the build and the situation it is possible that shields will last longer than hulls under fire.

So, explain me why, on this thread:
Why Cinnamon is kinda avoiding my question by answering something else ?
Maths have been done, they decreased total reward from 315 to 270… the thing about the patch that should have been deployed originally the 6th is irrevelant.
Why am I kinda seeing that the ship is sinking, and now they are just trying to squeeze as much money as possible ?

don’t worry, the price match guarantee won’t cover for ever… and as I remember gaijinent did this kind of refun on warthunder before, not to refun real money but something in game…

But starting statistc of Sybil is like Brave so u can do that same thing on both ships, Sybil should have more shield at the start than hull.
Brave have similar base stats but then brave is for hull not shields.
Antares have balanced hull and shiled with superior speed.
I will mode my sybil for shields, but it shouldnt be Jerichos Brave at the base.
Due to amount of base hp points and how percentage based passive modules are, difference in Hull and Shields grows, while Sibyl has technicaly more Hull point than shields, comparing to other destroyers it has the most shields
