Can someone summarise this thread for me? I missed out on four pages and I want to catch up on the latest BS tactic to push destroyers down our throats please.

Well, we can assume that after all 3 are presented, they will enter a lock-down mode.
During the lock-down mode, there won’t be any chances to obtain them.
However, such lock-down mode is limited, could be 3-6 months.
For the New Year, 4th Destroyer will come, rank 15 with 10 slots, which will be an exclusive one and available ONLY DURING 2017 event. Could be 2-3 weeks, or less.
During that time, all 3 Destroyers become active and open again (lock-down cancelled) and you can get them for the next 48-72 hours. Then it’s locked again, and months of waiting.
After months of waiting, Rank 14 Destroyers become available again, but their price increases by 20% for rare resources.
Requirements are raised only for enriched Electrum, Neodium plates and enriched Beryllium.
Everything else stays the same, but these 3 rare components are in higher demand.
Overall other predictions for 2017:
Doomb0t gets married!
OmegaFighter gets his 5k required funds.
April the 1st of 2017: Gaijin goes bankrupt, EA buys (S)Targem and takes over.
- Stability, peace and order continues, playerbase gets increased tenfold. Customers are happier.
Star Conflict lives for the next 5 years, with greater success than ever before, until 2022, when the project is closed and a fresh one starts.
+999999 would recommend.
Really? So they won’t be available afterwards? What a pile of crap
Oh well at least they’ll be in limited number in-game then.

Have you not seen the CitizenCon 3.0 footage yet? Looks pretty good already. XD
And tbh the single player is cool and all but I really like the multiplayer aspect a ton. Flying around with yer squad is p coo.

They did a lot of work in a “wrong scale” and the only solution is to do it all over again. So they showed that to let know people they did something…which will be pretty much thrown to the trash.
Single player looks awesome visually, distance scale is 100% realistic, render distance is decent except for foliage (as crysis 2-3 cause they are meant for tighter environments), you have a lot of detail in certain areas in many ways, you do all the actions to get in a vehicle (instead of just pressing a key to instantly appear in the driver seat), etc, etc. But you take hours to move from a place to another, theres almost nothing to do but watch…you get bored between such large and actionless moments. So much space for so little (fun things) to do.

Well it IS supposed to be super realistic. And in space when travelling long distances there’s really not much to do.

I guess they should install consoles in their ships, and play Star Conflict while traveling in Star Citizen, huehuehue

I think games have to balance between realism and fun. As a human you dispose of limited time to play, and playing should be fun. Being a mercenary and live completing assignements across the universe is a full time task which obiously cant be fully performed by a player, reason why the game must skip those unnecessary moments that arent significative for a nice gaming experience. Question is: how to reduce a whole day (or week(s)) into a few hours of interesting content. Certainly you must reduce realism as first action.

Don’t EVER wish for that
EA turns EVERY single game to grind (you think that SC is grindy? Try to get Black Widow X in Mass Effect 3 - it took me 8 months of daily 8 hours grind to get all weapons to the tenth level). All DLC were expensive, all costumes/apperances - pay real money. And at the top of the cake small cherry - 80 Euro base game with small weapon pack (which sucked).

Yup true, more and more games are fusing with real life and somehow create a second dimension of living, games are supposed to make us having fun
With most other items that have been made event exclusives for a time, this phasing out thing was somewhat ok, as there was other items that were about the same available anyhow. It’s different with these ships though, as they are the only ones available of their type, at that tier, and in the release of the rank 8, and 11 ones, they stuck around after, so this breaks the pattern. I’d say it’s more than enough of a benefit of the event to get easy materials to make one, and see no reason to compound the matter by removing them from production for however long they are removed for. Then the new material will be added to open space later, for what benefit when we can’t ultimately make the only thing that material is used to make? You listened to the complaints of people regarding the removal of loyalty pools in the new equipment upgrade system, do the same here, and leave them in production after the event, making the event only about getting materials like in the prior destroyer release events.
other than being a bit surprised that Jericho isn’t the last one in line, making only 1 available at a time seems a bit odd, I’m not complaining, but it is defiantly a break from the norm. I take it that after the 3rd destroyer gets its time in the sun the build cycle will either repeat or be discarded? I can see why you’ed do something like this, make a system where people are able to build and get used to each destroyer so you don’t have the chat blowing up about how useless one destroyer or another is because the complainers haven’t taken the time to learn anything about their new destroyer and built it badly (looking at you hull tank and repair drone Archons & Sibyls).

At least with EA on the F2P front if you ask for a credit, they will give you a nice bump. I had an issue with one of my games with ea, but they were quick to compensate. I wish I could say the same for this game. Though their games were also grindy, I still managed get to a fun level about about 100 hours of gameplay. Too bad that game is offline now.

It’s need for speed world? ”)
I’m still a bit confused about the R14s. So in 18 days, no matter whether enough resources was distributed or not to players to craft a Sirius the ship will become unavailable for crafting for a long time.
Does this mean that I’m going to have to pay to get my Jericho Destroyer
