Since staying alive or not is often a question of miliseconds in this game - couldn’t she just say what’s the matter, without the “warning” part in front?
Simply say “Shields down!” or “Incoming missile!” so we poor pilots know right away what button we might press to counter.
Just a little peave I have with the game, apart from that it’s damned good fun so far.
Considering there are visual cues for emergency situations, the audio cue feels more like an annoying reminder to me. _“Yes, I know my shields are down, thank for letting me know what I already know when half my hull has now been breached.” _They should add random events with a really low probability of occuring, just to add immersion, tips, and wtf moments. _*Gets hit by stasis* _Bartle OS has received a fatal flaw. Rebooting.
