Tai'Kin T'Har'OK' Beamer

If everybody used a Tai’Kin the T’Har’OK’ Beamer would never hit anything at all . the real problem is the use of  Engineers , Guards , LRF’s and Destroyers . The rest of the ships can move out of the way if they have a good build and a good pilot . Any further nerf to the  T’Har’OK’ would make it worthless . In my opinion it should simply just be removed from the game as a good try but an epic fail. If the Tai’Kin had a normal weapon very few players would complain about the ship in PVP . Dev’s just remove the weapon ! don’t nerf it  more , simply get rid of it permanently . 

Weapon itself is not bad, its like reversed phaser, but its damage and fire rate is ridiculous. Maybe if it would launch a big ball with a rate that phaser does, high damage wont be much of a problem. But no, lets make explosive homing singularity cannon on overdrive and install it on recon. 

Honestly the weapon for the most part is worthless. Most targets worth killing move faster than the ballz if the only good targets are slow targets then the weapon is lame.

 

They should be what I thought they were originally, mines that home in but only 3 at a time and recharge is no less than 30 seconds (Missile slot obviously).

they are a failed attempt at a new weapon and the entire community knows as well as the Dev’s they need to be removed or the players will always use them to ruin PVP

It just needs another tweak and will get one eventually. So far you can build it to blow up frigates and destroyers  as fast as a gunship, all with only main weapon. Maybe you can out run them in a fed engi, but the smart ones drop them in front of you, and the smarter ones spam them around beacons so fast enemy ships fly into them while circling the beacon :slight_smile:

I consider the missile launcher to be just as broken as the bubble gun of doom. The missile launcher literally requires zero skill to use and also makes crazy manoeuvering without loosing accuracy way too easy. And why the fufu should this abomination also deal more damage than a Plasma Gun?

4 Taikins, 18 missile warnings ._.

 

(Equipping Flares/Missile Shield would be considered a waste of a slot, also dampening the overall effectiveness of most support ships)

All tai’kin weapons dmg should be reduced by 50% at least… they are both aim bot thing and deal a s*** tons of dmg
