full hull & full shield -> sentry drone IV MK.4 shoots at me -> 4/5 hull & full shield
I was flying with a tiger (rank 11 & i have the SR Mark 3 activated(so damage on the hull cant be from a collision)) and maybe i had the respawn invisible(i don’t look all the time in my buff list).
I tried to reproduce it but it wasn’t possible for me.

I went through the whole game log, and I didn’t find anything that indicated hull damage from the drone. Imo, the devs need to revamp how logs are displayed and show what type of damage is being dealt.
Right now, this is what is shown:
So if it said:
Damage John161 -> SlowhandClapton 4022.55 Module_GuidedDron_T4_Epic THERMAL -> SHIELD or HULL depending on what was dealt.
As for the OP, I don’t see how the devs can tell where the damage was dealt? Or am I wrong…
Sounds like you are experiencing a phenomenon called packet loss.
What probably happened is it didn’t hit you but you hit a wall instead but due to packet loss, you didn’t see what happened.
Too lazy to check logs man.
Just saying, i crash due to packet loss and don’t see it often times.
I saw the red number at my hud (crash damage has grey numbers)
i have the rank 9 c implantat (so no crash damage to shield)
there was nothing near my ship against which i could had crashed
