My apologies, i was typing from my phone, i meant to say 3 seconds. It might as well be technically coded as 2 seconds as Snib said, just due to the lag i experienced 2.5-3.
Just went and ran a quick test myself to verify:
21:57:22.046 CMBT | Apply aura 'Cloaking' id 14 type AURA_STEALTH to 'Tester'
21:57:22.129 CMBT | Damage Snib -> Tester 381.76 Module_PlasmaWeb_T5_Base THERMAL
21:57:23.129 CMBT | Damage Snib -> Tester 381.76 Module_PlasmaWeb_T5_Base THERMAL
21:57:24.046 CMBT | Cancel aura 'Cloaking' id 14 type AURA_STEALTH from 'Tester'
Little less than 2 seconds even (cloak lasts exactly 2 seconds but I think you need to start counting from the first damage tick).
Nice guide. My Silent Fox needs those levels.
prefer gauss myself, but no low tier ships have the right bonus’s for it so eh.
Updated with more info, and cleared up some grammatical errors. My English teacher will be mad at me.
T2 fox with aux and speed booster module successfully can pursuit other intys.
Voltage regulator is required for that, IIRC. Every T2 tackler can’t sustain ABing by default, and the Jeri ones lack a cap slot for more energy.

Which was why I ran assault rails on my Fox-M previously. I’ve not played T2 in the longest time, and I don’t remember why it now has gauss equipped.

Not a lot of T2 pilots pay attention to gauss. Even those who are on the receiving end of it.
Where’s the trust. I’ve got a covops as my avatar after all. :010j: :lol:
It is a T2 CovOp, those are hardly trusted expertise :lol: :lol:

Well Fox-M is the best non premium T2 Tackler. Rhi-no and Razor are way better than Fox-M in terms of passive bonuses
Tackler tip #1: always keep checking your status effects and presence/position of micro locators; deal with ECM as priority before they get close.
Also, glancing trough your guide, some of your suggestions are bad. Tackler without EB is paper but keep flying it that way if you prefer it; I do not recommend. Also my tacklers do not use vernier engines and catalyst injectors as primary engine upgrades, you do not dogfight with a tackler. And proton wall is debatable. Ussualy you want high crit builds and it’s a risk not taking, specially if you are still learning the class you might better use that resist instead.

Sometimes your build calls for other things than EB. In fact I don’t run EB in any of my tacklers, and I’m doing fine with it. Cap slots are very useful for a tackler, and I don’t like to waste them in EB. If my survival is a bit less I don’t care, I have other benefits.
It always calls for EB, there is nothing else. Use it.

I never missed the EB in any fighter build. Energy management, speed, damage or RoF are way better. On interceptors, specially fed ones, it is a must, but other than that I don’t find it that useful.
I dont use eb, just fill with pulse dischargers
WOOO!

Excellent! Keep up the good work!
