They were not hit, but strafed into the radiation zone, those ~500 ticks add up nicely to 6k!
This complaint really irritates me because I can’t rush T4+ even if I wanted to. The developers can’t (or at least, shouldn’t) change this until after the official release fixes the low population problem, otherwise people in my situation would post negative reviews elsewhere. (If they aren’t already)
